actually it acts likes a feeder but only serving two major towns rather than just 'twirling' around a town.
there are much advantages too,
1) It serves the inner parts of tampines (eg. st 82/ave 3/st 83/ave 9) so it can help to ease the loads of feeder svcs.
2) It serves the inner parts of pasir ris (eg. st 52/ave 4) so it can help to ease the loads of feeder svcs.
3) It links the inner parts of tampines to downtown east, white sands, pasir ris west plaza, loyang point.
4) It links the inner parts of pasir ris to tampines central community centre, tampines mall, century sq, tampines 1(future) and N4/N8 neighbourhoods.

can be locked alr... all comments can go to part 3 how?
I believe 130 can take over 97 from Shenton Way to JUE. This should have been done when NEL opened up.
suggest to divert Sv 265/268 (alternate trip).. maybe put as Sv 265M/268M to divert to YCK Terminal during morning peak and evening peak. Instead of ending at AMDEP for 265/268 during AM Peak, suggest that each alternate trip of Sv 265/268 turn to YCK Terminal from AMK Ave 9, to help bring pax to the MRT station. There are a lot of pax who is taking 265/268 and alight at Ave 9 (near police station) in morning and walk over to the MRT station. Sv 76 frequency is too long.. These 265M/268M bus can then start from YCK terminal during AM Peak. Just need slight coordination in the timing with the start timing from AMDEP..
during evening peak, maybe can start alternate trips from YCK terminal as well to bring pax back home..
