Sorry if I'm not posting this in the right place but I've not logged in for a very looong time.
Anyway it's about a bus stop (more like a pole only, with a bus sign on top) on Dairy Farm Crescent... first thing right after you turn in from Dairy Farm Road. It was there since Friday 29 August...and it was on only one side too. Any idea what's it for?
Gee, i don't know... maybe it's a taxi stand?
nah the sign has a bus on it, like a normal bus stop, i'm sure
ok, so for your question,
Any idea what's it for?
I am going to guess that it is a bus stop
It's for a bus yes but what bus
does the sign has the bus number on it?
like this?
can't see picture, but
No
lol

If you are at Fuchun CC, look opposite the road and see a bus stop pole with no shelter. That bus stop is for Sv 587.
And, if you want to know, Sv 975 route passes these type of bus stops, No bus shelter but only a bus stop pole. There's also one more near Sengkang as well. (near SBST Sengkang Depot)

I mean that this pole is a new one. There's no number on it too. No buses come to Dairy Farm anyway...
I'm asking this is if you know anything about future bus services that might serve this stop..?
I smell a new Premium service...
if you can't see the pic. go here, http://lh3.ggpht.com/_c892dURlSYU/RVIOCyPxABI/AAAAAAAAARY/nKBMNyk5Qus/IMG_1017.JPG
beside the bus sign is some numbers, which will identify the bus stop, and allow you to find info about it.

Not really. 700 and 966 go to Dairy Farm, but no stop there. Anyway there could be a new premium service like what Superbus had said, look at Ah Hood Rd for a good example (139 from Bt Merah to Toa Payoh). When you turn in and stop there near the East Asia Institute of Management, look across. You'll see a pole with one premium service. Hmm I wonder... SBS Transit or SMRT?
SMRT Buses has one Premium service each from Bukit Panjang Ring Road and Petir Road that is yet to be introduced.
for new service bah..
New SMRT Premium Service 598

i honestly think tat if pax are to take 598 from petir to scotts or orchard only to have a seat, rather take 190 instead to save $$$..
and 586 is totally running like 160. but price difference is............

Duplicating 555 from the starting point at Bangkit LRT (only thing it never enter Fajar Rd) to Blk 183 bus stop along Bt Panjang Rd
