last sun, at the busstop outside the british council, i waited from 3.06pm to 3.41pm for the bus 106, tib1158e, to arrive... this is an extended bus with two carriages and guess wat, it was full to the brim! i had to stand on the steps of the entrance all the way to my stop in holland village. btw, this is a 35min-wait!! by this time, three bus 105 passed by (the 3rd arriving at 3.37pm, bearing the licence plate sbs8489y and the fourth arriving at 3.39pm, sbs544z). while standing near the bus driver, i managed to glance at his schedule:
leave marina sq reach busstop outside british council
11.51am 12.13pm (22 mins)
2.29pm 2.52pm (23 mins)
4.51pm 5.16pm (25 mins)
noticed all the times were not even close to his arrival time at 3.41pm!!! and even if he was slowed down by traffic, it still took him more than the time that he was supposed to be there (35 mins to be exact), and in a relatively quiet sunday afternoon.
noticed the very bad coordination of bus schedules, and how dare the authorities grant them a fare increment!

Why didnt u take 105 then? It goes near there too.
also lack of drivers. for today, 143 has 7 PM shifts not operating today due to lack of manpower. (3 under braddell bus park side, 4 under soon lee bus park side)
gg hahah.
but now is holiday schedule for certain services that means a few buses and shifts are cut and it should be able to occupy more slots but it doesnt seem to be happening for today.

What do you expect when almost half of the Singapore is down at Suntec for Comex Fair ? Not to mention, there was the NIke Race that was going on at the same day. Dont blame the bus co. Blame your fellow Singaporeans who insist of driving to Suntec and jam up the whole city area.
So what if you are unhappy over the Full and late buses ? So what if you post here ? Can we help to change the situation for u ?
The answer is NO.
This is not 251 North Bridge Rd. If you are unhappy with their service, go there. Not here..
TOO BAD if they are not answering to ur "feedback"
98 is the worst. In the morning, students stays in Corporation Town had to wait a long time to get to school in Jurong West area. Service 98 always very late. Some students told me.
If you are going to Holland Village, you can certainly take 105 and then take a 10 min stroll along Holland Avenue to get there.
