and it won't be a comfortable ride for every passengers. Go one gear up or down, will jerk and lurch a bit. Then some more BCs will need to maintain the clutch and gearbox if not the engine can suddenly switch off. Last time happened on private coaches, the driver lost the timing then cause the engine to flameout. -

The bus engine very easily heat up. Run on A/P shift for the whole day the engine will sure boom.
