not rly. automatic upshift too quickly as stated above right? so manual will enable the driver to upshift at an optimum level

because there's no sufficient cool air flow for the engine from e outside!

it does not mean this way. it is how e driver accelerates - whether he wants to step very hard or lightly.![]()

this is e trend alr. notice e scania P series, new MAN n Merc Actros trucks accelerate e same way - fast chg of gears.

Time to change to Voith..

I would prefer Volvo's i-Shift. Semi-automatic. Its proven in many coaches. Too bad it isnt offered in most of Volvo's city buses.

defeats the purpose of installing an auto transmission on a citybus in the first place...

There are some modication to the gearbox. Now the gear doesn't seem to change so fast and most importantly no more squeaking sound from the suspension.

this i doubt so. i went to 6th gear even before 50kph...

most likely the BC go zham the accelerator, and make the engine rev to a high rpm, then can keep t higher speed.

like scanias, ain't it. the kub's always vibrate hard when the revs go above 1500rpm or so.

if i'm not mistaken, the cause of all these is 绑油... and we can more or less assume it's cos the bus is no longer Volvo's bus...

Nonono. Don't get him wrong. He meant that the bus no longer belongs to Volvo but is now SBS Transit's. In other words demo period is over
Actually I think the bus design for this bus is the most COOL and HIP of all the WAB single decks brought in. A pity they didnt import more of the WAB Volvo B7RLE.

If the demo was successful it'll probably be bought in bulk.
Anyway, even though it's a pity, it also means we should look forward to more new demos soon.

That's Soon Chow corporation latest fashion. Front headlights design until like devil eyes. The rear design until like fire engine.
