  TIB573X was initially a perm split shift service 854 for weekdays and crossovers to service 882 on Sundays. Somehow when TIB573X was transferred to WLDEP, TIB736T directly replace TIB573X. The full day slot on service 854 was replaced by SMB31X.

  And seems like SMRT really likes to put all the new buses to service 851.

  Not sure why TIB834T is still in roster list when it is now trapped in the midst of the laid-up UDs in WLDEP. That bus could be seen from the WLDEP ramp being surrounded by 2 UDs.

  Remember those old days when service 178 was converted to PAC in 1995, got a number of OAC Mercs deployed on it.

  From old and dated Nissan buses (a.k.a. Freaky Old Buses) to fleet of Mercedes buses  .

  If, and when, Woodlands Depot gets their OC500LEs, they should also put a few of them on this route along with some of the Volgren-bodied MB O405s. Then the transformation will be complete.

  When LTA takes over central planning and contracts out this route, I can see SBS Transit taking over. In fact, I can already see the Volvo Super Olympians and B9TLs on a route I expect will receive a lot of love from SBS Transit.
