I was pwned by the bus driver :(.
Boarded 106 for the fun of it, thought it'd be a loop service for the F1 Period, apparently not :p. Bus driver wanted me to alight at the last stop of service =[.
Anyone tried takinng the diverted services a whole round around? :P

. The posters they put up made it seem like its a loop service for this period of time (otherwise why draw the arrows of where the bus will be re-routed to :x)Driver was nice enough to let me stay on the bus while he makes his loop d'oh =)

at SMU bus stop, got SMRT TI will climb on board every bus and tell pax to alight this applied for svc 700M erm 700A, 106 and 77
For Svc857 TI will state that bus loops at City hall MRT.
Note: Svc 75 loops at Church St and does not loop at Middle rdSvc97 orginal routing was chnaged. instead of further looping at raffles hotel, they changed it to loop like 195. Take note.
Planned route:- Robinson rd - Upp Cross St - Eu tong sen st - hill st - high st - vic rd - Middle rd - Sth Bdge rd - nth bdge rd - church st and back on route < > changed to Robinson rd - Upp Cross St - Eu tong sen st - hill st - high st - vic rd - Middle rd - Sth Bdge rd - Bras Basah rd - beach Rd - Midle rd - back alg sth bdg rd - nth bdge rd - church st and back on routeto get the best out of diversion, try sit sit 196 (ah hah first to be name- ah hah) or 10 or 70 .
Esp 196. the novelty of 196 gg to City hall MRT has me saying
:oh gee, shd i take 196 or 197 from here to home?" oooh i love f1 diversions.U will observe that svc111 and 502 will loop very fast. my 111 BC drove very slowly after gg thru his diversion lol.
Evening peak bottleneck areas
seem to be Beach Rd turning right to Kg java,
Vic St turning right to Middle rd (one lane turning only.)
Upper Cross St area where cars love to cross lanes. then make me cross. and also cross-eyed. the jam also make me cross.
Shenton Way turning left to Cross St. many bus svc have to turning here.
Church St. cars filter from 5 lanes to 3 lanes as 2 lanes are gg to Fullerton hotel which is...closed.
More cars in chiantown as roads close close close? well affect diverted bus too. very heavy congestion along Hill St.morning peak? i dunno. never go n try diversion in morning. ummm obsessed with premiums i guess. lol
results:
Due to my famlaiirty of diversion i been taking bus between beach rd n chiantown and chiantown to shenton way. lol. Ii even took a svc 196 (oh yah guess what svc I like lol) from Hill St to SMU..), I once spotted a VSO on 196 at middle rd the other day i juz run right into it without thinking..lolLike the big yellow sign at the Nicholl HW telling u which lane goes where? Middle rd? , restricted Access? Wish to gunzel it real soon.

I work also but manage to find time to squeeze quite a few sessions of photgraphy in and do some f1 activity related things.
is just how u plan ur time wisely.
some may feel f1 is not their passion. then of cuz dun bbother waste time on f1.

Since when was the change? Service 97 was looping via Middle Rd when I took it on Tuesday, it does not ply Bras Basah Rd and Beach Rd as what you have mentioned. -

Will be pointing out Sv 107/107M
Was at Hg Int 107 berth since 7.30pm.
Spotted the last bus (SBS2779A) parking since I came to the interchange at around 7.20pm for dinner
Instead SBS2779A went off service.
SBS9299Y came back at around 7.25pm then SBS2659M at around 7.30pm
SBS9299Y supposed to be the first bus for Sv 107M(saw the BC went up the bus and rest inside) but ended up the behind bus, SBS2659M came to pick up the passengers first at 8.12pm instead of 7.49pm
With that it was around a 40mins wait + the bus before the last bus for Sv 107 departed from Hg Int... -

Hmm..i boarded 7439 today as i went for the F1 Grand prix last night. most prob u can't take pix of the F1 chartered buses along the tracks or the boarding point (eg. outside Lavender MRT Stn)becoz of the security guards around the area..anyway, thxs simple boi for the info on the regos of bus that did the shuttle..

It should be alright if you are to take a few photos down there. However not taking photos for 1 hr!! Sure kena police case for security purposes.
