Hi everyone,
Anyone uses IRIS extensively here on a daily basis on their mobile browsers/handheld devices/GPRS/BBoM?
Thanks.
Not me.
But I feel that information via sms seems more relaible compared to using IRIS online. Not sure if they come from the same source.
I believe they come from the same source (IRIS and SMS).
They are after-all, the same service. It's just different methods of using the service.
Have something for all of you to play with if you're interested =)
Don't tell me it's that 3rd party app ...

me. (Using GPRS)
Meeting some last minute problems that I cannot resolve now =(
Hope I can resolve it soon and test it out =) (looking at a user-base of only 10 people for now).

If your application is able to display the rego, then that's what everyone is looking for.

I did notice checking iris via my mobile can sometimes be more accurate than via my laptop. And when I say "more accurate", I refer to drastic differences of 10 mins or more!
not this right?

Unfortunately not =(
SBST doesn't provide data with the rego anywhere on their webpage. So unless the data appears on their webpage or I'm working there and have access to their GPS units :p, it isn't possible.
So is what thing?
Anyway, check or no check also the same. :( Still have to wait for the damn bus.
Me. a regular.
Looks interesting to me...
Mind if I try? (:

Will msn you later =)
Must say it's good. Especially when you can have your own "Next Bus Arrivial Information" signboard. Lol.
Anyway, here's mine. (162M is unable to display for some bug in the system):
(53391) Opp. Block 203 - Bishan St 22
http://iris.yail.net/m/TengSwee/8WuCSrsU/1.htm
(53399) Block 202 - Bishan St 22
http://iris.yail.net/m/TengSwee/8WuCSrsU/2.htm
Both stored for use outside my school. Thanks to n4l too for the service.
Do note that not all timings presented in the system is accurate - just like SBST iris NextBus itself.
Also, if the bus stop has more services, it takes a longer time to load compared to a bus stop with lesser services because the system needs to get the arrival times for each individual service listed in the "page" created.
