I dont think its the first 854E bus?
Since 854 had gotten the OC, 854E would be likely also.. The more interesting part is 531 and 167.

Rare exceptional case of S812 bendies bunching just minutes ago. Thanks to some brainless funeral organiser who, instead of doing right turns to go out into Yishun Ave 2 (where it is MUCH more spacious), he chose to turn left out of the Block 647 carpark - to go by the narrow Yishun St 61. Cars, 4 Chartered buses (Including PA 2022D & PA 4076K) and many many lorries followed. Jammed up the entire street. Driver of 1207Y was forced to enter the jam as well - she lambatted 8-9 minutes and the behind bus, 1232Z bunched with her bus.
Sometimes, really wonder what's with these people - Selfish for their own needs and not concerned about making a jam just by jamming up the entire lane. Who would even care if it was just a funeral?

You would - if it were someone related to you (touch wood).
I'd suggest being more sensitive about such issues - he could have chosen that route because of personal reasons (i.e. it could have been related to the deceased during his/her course of the deceased's life)

No lah, many aunties were saying that the group wanted to go by the fastest route out to Thomson Area - I presume the Mandai Crematorium.
Not saying that we musn't be sensitive about such "death" things, but I certainly would vote for having the head of the group choose a more wider road so as to avoid congestion. If passengers down the route complain about its frequency, I believe saying "funeral wake block the road" will definitely not be enough to please the passengers who are already frustrated about the poor frequency due to the whole incident.

Sometimes, you really need to wach what you are really saying when it comes to such issues.

If you were there at the scene, I'd be glad to listen to you. Because you don't understand how frustrated the passengers and the drivers were. The buses have a timetable to follow and they can't just let it be affected by such things. Yes it's unavoidable, but if you studied the map of St61 carefully, if the organiser had chosen to turn right, things would have been made much easier, because he turns out of the narrow St61 quickly and avoids making a long line of vehicles behind.
Were you?

Too bad bus drivers aren't given the autonomy to make decisions on their own accord (i.e. to take alternative routes when neccersary). The OCC doesn't know the situation on the roads...

Yeah, I kind of pitied the female driver because after that trip it would be her mealbreak... and it got cut short.
Anyway, go back to topic... the above incident was just another isolated case...

0193 is perm 240. The hazard lights were due to it being former perm 24, an airport service.
0377 is still perm 193, I clarified the error earlier on.
