It won't help if you camp for CSS189D or CSS184S. They are not spotted for 2 weeks and it seems that this have spelt the end of UD reign on Sv 975. Today is the last day we will ever see CSS180C and CSS179H on the roads.
CSS194M will be the last remaining UD in KJ after all the OACs from KJ are de-reg tomorrow. Do note that CSS194M might be doing S-shift for 975.

Haha... Nissan Diesel vehicles are one of the most powerful bunch in Japan Domestic Market now, followed by Hino Motors and Izusu.
The latest Nissan Diesel Spacerunner buses (produced since 2007) are equipped with a 300PS diesel engine (MD92TJ 220kW/2200RPM, 1324Nm/1400RPM) and conforms to Japan Heisei 27 (2015 in Western Calender) Emissions Standards, and fuel efficient as 4.04 km per liter fuel burn. Transmission in 5 speed manual or auto. The engine systems also incoporate SCR technology (like OC500LE buses here) and has cleaner emissions than a Euro 5 vehicle!
As a complete build-up body, with a wheelbase of 4800mm, the bus can carry 28-30 seated passengers and one-two wheelchair passengers depending on configurations.
With such a competitive performance, if given as a service provider in Asia, I would definitely choose this model over other complete build-up citybuses.

Will SMRT purchase those buses? Keeps our fingers crossed....
Maybe SMRT will get the japanese citybuses, but maybe with another bodywork from Gemilang or asia bodywork builder. Just like the Hinos
The japanese CBU buses's bodywork design is admittedly retro looking..

however it must be WAB, otherwise i don think PTC might allow
Japanese buses have this rather tradtitional complete build up and export tradition. Say, with exception of chassis sales...
New Japanese buses don't look retro anymore... Most of them incoporate the newer designs of European counterparts, but still retain Japanese culture and regulations.
I would say their midi-buses have quite one of a kind designs...
gonna miss them lots..![]()

first of all,you are not suppose to take out their bell stickers unless with SMRT's approval...since you took it secretly, you shouldn't tell bus fans about it,it will only cause more flaming... if you're doing something illegal obviously you won't tell others right?
Saw CSS194M on service 975 today, around 520pm along Old CCK Road heading towards Lim Chu Kang.
