This dosent look like WLDEP at all.haha.it looks as if the Nissans are parked in the middle of a bare land.more like a dessert.the place looks so bare and blank.only can see the sky so clearly.the last pic is nice.nice colour of the sky.anyway farewell to all the Nissans and may they rest in peace.![]()

That was in May when AMDEP took 2 more full day duties from WLDEP, TIB934M and TIB939A became perm whereas TIB658K and TIB673R was out. TIB658K remained WLDEP SP for a while and went back to service 980 under S102 shift replacing CSS183U (perhaps could be due to the ad), somewhere in June.
so now, what are the 3 permers?
the full day bus is 665P?

Only 2 shifts under WLDEP for weekdays - TIB658K (S102) and TIB665P (AM/PM11). The rest all under AMDEP. Weekend will have more shifts under WLDEP but no fixed deployment fleets.

TIB1254K is perm service 178.
By looking at those pics posted by manjieass, it is really a pity to see them being scrapped off just like that though the CAC interiors are really in bad conditions. Hopefully SMRT could just sell them off to other places like Bintan and Batam, perhaps to the kampungs in Malaysia too. I believe that the villagers living there will be happy to get air-conditioned buses. In fact I have even seen some buses in Malaysia, they are non air-conditioned and furthermore they seem to be even older than the SMRT's Nissan UD fleets.
Some examples of such buses in Malaysia...They are just like the old school buses which I remembered taking everyday to school way back in the early 1990s.

those all Hino AKs. malaysia got a lot of such engine types running around. some r in fact more than 10 yrs old (some r in fact 20 or so!). how i wished e local bus companies there bought not just e UDs, but also e MK2, MB0405 n Scania 113CRB, n those awaiting to be scrapped like MK3s.
If the Malaysia operators can purchase those UDs and NAC/CACs/OACs MKIIs , it would be a short trip across the causeway to relive the memories :D

Yah.sadly they wont and SBST and SMRT also wont sell their buses too them.
SBST and SMRT rather send their good working buses to the dump rather then sell it to other countries which aren't so fortunate in having good A/C buses.![]()

fact: nobody wants sbst and smrt buses. their condition so chui. might as well get new buses.

Whats so bad about the SBST and SMRT buses?at least they are so much more better than the current old NAC buses that the Malaysian operators are using.

Can use 4 resort shuttle buses...

I disagree. If the conditions are so chui then SBST & SMRT would have gotten more complains their buses are horrid even before the buses reach 15 years. Both companies will maintain their 15-17 year old buses at a certain reasonable standard, and most likely still can function as second hand buses in other countries if they are refurbished and given some minor overhaul.
When the old buses are going to be scrapped, there are members who say that some of the buses are still in good working condition with powerful aircons and engines despite the age and a pity to scrap them. E.g. MK IIs, the outgoing O405s and N113s. If they are still serviceable with spare parts, i believe they can be second hand buses (short haul routes, resort shuttle buses).
If the bus companies in other countries can get buses at cheap dirt price that are still roadworthy after refurbishment and overhaul, they will favour this over purchasing new buses.
Who knows, if they only wanna sell at high prices.

Yah.very true.at least the Merc or Nissans can get a new life over there and can be used rather than sent to the dumps.
