Bus fans! What are your other interests?

interested in trains and railways - esp Melbourne's & Sydney's interstate and metro trains. the vast railway network, its operations etc makes railway so interesting and interest to pursue and find out more.
Seeing commercial aircrafts at airports take off and landing. The feeling is unique. I specially missed the old former viewing galleries at Changi Airport Terminal 1 & 2 where can see the planes and runway so clearly. Now is like ****.

The current Changi Airport T1 viewing gallery still quite ok to me.

Yes. Erm, if you're wondering, SBS1984E is a clone of SBS1985C which used to have rim guards
I do love cycling and plane spotting at Changi Airport Cargo Complex. Usually , I cycle and do my bus spotting simultaneously.
Until... I wrecked my Stunt bike in a completely Bus Unrelated Accident at the Dirt Bike track in tampines... Now, the bike is still lying one corner in my house, while I use another bike :lol: Non - BMX bike. -_-"
Overall, I just love travelling. Even to places I visited countless times.
Erm, Anyone want to sponsor to repair my bike? LOL -

And cycling - that happens to be another one of my interests. And yes, I do do bus spotting on my bicycle sometimes (that's how I hunted down those two Mercedes OC500LE buses in Yishun the other day).
You are lucky to be able to cycle around the east area - there's not many interesting places to cycle to within my reach in the north, other than Seletar Airport and the still-under construction (and by that, I mean they are still constructing the basic infrastructure) aviation industrial hub on Pulau Punngol Barat (yes, it's accessible by bicycle via dirt tracks, though you can go in there only on Sundays as they do construction on other days and you will get shooed away).

relax. just some thoughts when meeting up with him. when you meet him, he'll be sleeping at home at the time of the meet-up cos he tired. ytd after making me wait for an hour, self-centeredly, he went the opposite direction of the meeting point and i asked him to turned back, he did unwillingly and started throwing all his nonsense on me like as if i was in the wrong and den i scolded him, he say he not in the mood and not meeting le and ignored me. ask him want ticket, he say he'll tear it into pieces. its not worth meeting up with him.

same here i cycled as fast as i could to see 856e on 985..from home to my near by terminal

i learnt my lesson,i will meet up with OTHER bus fans punctually(i promise),i'm really tired,why can't i sleep,you think i want to make you wait uh?forget it la,i dont wanna create conflict here,back to topic please..

Agree, the old vewing gallery is good...and the linkbrige from T1 to T2 which passes airlines offices

Actually, you could just SMS him that you are not coming because you are tired then you don't even need to go there. Cancel the meeting earlier, try not to make people wait. :) -
Good topic created, as it does create some form of diversity from our interest. =)
For me, I like to do the following:
- Singing (prefers to sing at PartyWorld and TopOne)
- Eating (all the great food in the world!)
- Swimming, jogging, badminton (perhaps sports day for bus fans?)
- Reading (fiction, non-fiction, inspirational, etc)
- IT Stuffs
- Mobile Phones
- Relaxing in a cafe
- Travelling
And I hope to do a makan-cum-bus trip one day...

yup.and the sepang race is coming soon i think.my father cant wait for it as he is a malaysian himself.haha
