7N & 8N (Withdrawal)
3N doesn't seem to serve Bukit Panjang anymore. =X Serves Bukit Batok instead.

Billboard says check www.sbstransit.com.sg for more information but the information is not out yet.

Yup. $4 from city back to home. The other fareband $1.50 remains the same. It's available at the bus stops. Bukit Panjang (Blk 223) Bus stop has the notice. Full details not on the notice though =X.

3N if I am not wrong is serve Bt Batok then Bt Panjang then CCK
Another service is East Coast, Bedok, Tampines then Pasir Ris
From what I see is more of combining of two services into one
1N and 6N are not affected by the route amendments

lol Still cheaper than taxi yah? =) And I thought SBST are famous for their usage of eways? =P

yeah cheaper than taxis! think sbst just trying to make use of the fact that people have no other way to go home other than by public transport if they don't have their own...
where's PTC when we need them to justify the fare increase and "protect" the people from ridiculous fare increases like this? ![]()
btw, their eway usage only applies to premium svcs :p, normal svcs never seem to use the eways..hahah..anyway i doubt the latest amendments will serve my area too..the last nightrider i had here was nr4 or something..the one that went to sembawang.
Just hope that SMRT will not increase their fares to $4.00 =X

they just increased theirs to $3.50 not long ago right...
Smrt has been in moi good bks 4 long long time
Originally posted by n4l:they just increased theirs to $3.50 not long ago right...
Yeah a few months back
Because when they see this, they may increase their fare to level with SBST and will not lose out.
But if they stay the current price, perhaps more people will take their service
So it depends on their decision of what they want to do.
Suckily become $4.50. Everyone take taxi liao. LOL.... $4.50 X 4.... = $18.... If 4 friends take taxi home le...no need wait....
i think situation also same like some CityShopper svcs - very few taking.

There was never an unlucky NR4 =P You are referring to NR9.
Okay so now my direct trip back home in Woodlands is 50cents cheaper than a ride to say... Ang Mo Kio by 1N lols. Not bad. ![]()
how to get more ridership by increasing sia
When all these NiteOwl Services no more in good demand, SBST better don't come and cry when they got less passengers than usual and in the end fold up their businesses.
i protest against the withdrawal of 8N , it has high demand waht
what's wrong ?? crazy to withdraw it ...

ridership shld stay the same...because people don't have a choice but to take their buses back at night or flag a cab, which is more expensive. they're making use of this to raise the fares, imo.

Well...SBST shld just set their new goal...
"Disconnecting Singapore"... It was previously a joke by some of the bus fans...

If SMRT don't increase their fares, I predict that more pax would prefer SMRT NRs if possible or else, try to catch last bus back home.

late nite people (>1am..clubbing or anything) wouldn't have a choice, and those people living in places without SMRT NRs.
