Oic.. Proton Saga has finally changed its looks after around 20 years of existence. That's something spanking fresh and exciting to look forward to from our neighbours across the causeway.
Btw, you are a bus-driver as well?

Got good reasons to go clubbing till the wee hours of the night... Even if there's no NiteOwl services after 2am, there's still NightRider services to look forward to.

If the time frame for NiteOwl service is 2 hours (from 12am to 2am) and the bus frequency is 30 mins ....
That means there are only 4 to 5 buses per service. Hmm... looks like we have to see if there's really demand for such services anymore.
So much for PTC's existence.

Bukit Batok West Avenue 2
Bukit Batok West Avenue 5

It wont make sense to go express along Bukit Batok Road when there's catchment along a better alternative route.

6N will have 5 trips at 30min freq
Departure times 2400 0030 0100 0130 0200
Applies to all schedules.
Run time for each service for full trip:
1N: 79min
2N: 86min
3N: 92min
4N: 96min

Supplementary services as per before, meaning 12 and 174 will not have NightOwl xovers.

That's why I feel puzzled by SBST's move. It doesn't reflect well on Singapore being a city that "never sleeps". I don't believe there are lesser people staying up till late. Night clubs, pubs in clark quay and most shopping centres are still having their usual night activities as per normal.
Either because SBST doesn't have many drivers willing to work on such shifts, or the company is trying to cut some operation costs after being fined a few weeks ago.

I believe before they were fined they had the intention to cut the NightOwl trips already. At that time I believe its to stem diesel costs.
The drivers doing the nightowls are daytime standby drivers, except that on nights with Nightowl they do night shift. I dont believe its a driver problem.

Anyway.. I am not a frequent nightrider commuter.. so I guess it will not really affect me much....

4 buses for 4N also. Updated Wiki with the latest info, although someone keeps changing the supplementary service for 3N to sv506 when its supposed to be sv195.

The problem is the 3N buses are usually from 506 though the duties include a supplementary trip on 195.

5N usually use buses from 97 & 183, that doesn't mean 5N's supplementary trip is on 97 or 183. The depots just use whatever buses available, which are usually from the S-shifts of any of the services, taking into consideration the start time of the supplementary services (buses from P-shifts are not in the depots) & the end time of the Nite Owl services (start time of the perm services for the morning).

Seriously..
I dont think that a big company like SBST would be greatly affected by S$9300.
Saving $ to buy more new buses, recuit more BC, or use the buses for upcoming new svces???

No more 3N in Bukit Panjang.
3N sticker covered up by red sticker.
But weird thing is the SBST Plate still remains intact.
Maybe a new SBST service coming soon that's why they did not remove?
2 other bus stop remains the same. No SBST service but with plate up on the pole.
In Bukit Batok Central, 3N stickers replace 8N stickers.
BBDC bus stop, however, does not have the plate up on the pole.
