Give to partial KJDEP will be better if you want Merc OC500LEs on service 966
.
Frankly speaking I don't think it's very "healthy" to the SLs to have route changes almost every few months.
When any 920/922 bus breakdown, they'll just take any bus available?
I ever rode on TIB636Z on 922 when it did 700 on the previous trip.

Yeah. Just like the bendy (TIB1132D) who did 920 but still holding on the 180 timesheet the other time.

541M will be operating on svc 920 as perm wef Sunday.
Premium 587/901 x-over will be replaced by TIB535G.
The manpower line-up for svc 920 and 922 are PRC SLs. Those good old folks i.e. 71162 (WL feeder STBY), 72030 (964), 72031 (913), 10102 (178), etc will not be coming back to 920/922 as perm drivers.
last day of 920/922 under KJDEP. tmr back to WLDEP control

I'm wondering if anybody saw the 75/920 OC crossover.

Oceane is referring to SMB16R slated to be deployed to 75 TQ duty with 4 supplementary (a.k.a x-over) trips of svc 920 from 0815-1136hrs before going back to 75, provided there is no last min changes.
Any bus fans spotted this bus on svc 920 in the morning?

Yah I saw it. I was at BP Interchange waiting for either 75 or 184 to NP, then I saw that bus doing 920. I thought its 75.

Wrong post.

I think this topic is a little bit side-tracked from svc 920.
However, answering to your query about my edited post on PBS 546 on sgwiki:
Crossover from YIDEP 853
Reduction from 2 trips to 1, withdraw supplementary from KJDEP 985
Originally, when PBS 546 was first introduced, there were 2 trips departing Blk 73 Geylang Bahru @ 0825 (supplemented by KJ's 985S101) & 0835 (by YIDEP's 853S203).
Due to "changing demands" as quoted by SMRT, the 0835 trip will be withdrawn effective from 20 Oct 08, leaving the one and only trip departing 0825 which is served by YIDEP's 853S203.
Btw, the official terminology for "crossovers" is supplementary trips, that is why I wrote supplementary instead of "crossover" or "x-over".
Hope this clarifies.
