Yes, it used LAs when plying Bishan Rd. Stopped using DDs (due to height limit) when it was amended to ply Lor Chuan.
speaking of 105, it also recived mark 2s for use as well. a star svc with good fleets. Double decker and mark 2.

Coz BB 153 accomodated the VO2x which had eventually gone to SLBP (majority) & some stay at BBDEP do 74/91/93.
Wrong, Wrong and Wrong, 153 was never directly under amdep, but was under Toa Payoh Depot and then bram. Not sure about the Alexandra or arbp side but definitely, by the 1990s it was fully hgdep all the way till now. The VO2xes came from hgdep.

Just some random thoughts, when sv190 was just handed over to TIBS in July 1999, TIBS only had 55 bendies (Mark Is) back then. Does anyone remember if TIBS was able give a 30 - 40 of the sole 55 bendies back then to Service 190 given the fact that SBS back then already used almost full DD fleet if I'm not wrong? If not how were they able to handle the demand for weekends without at least 30 - 40 bendies?

The VO2x from 153 is from HG. HG used to keep VO2xs....
