Yeah still can remember the regos like 6935, 3567, 6954, 6921 etc which served 97 before.

They swapped their LAs with the LO2x from 198 during 1992 and those BRBP 157 LAs like 5602, 5604 etc were transferred to BBDEP to do 198 also.
And after 157 gets their LO2x it was never replaced by LA again only except that there were some cameos before deregistered.
Still remembered that during that time most of 157 LO2x based in JRBP were from Svc 198 (7189, 6944, 7133, 7176, 7136, 6968 etc) prevoiusly while those based in BRBP were from Svc 187 (7159, 7162 etc) previously.

I see. but not on trunk svcs? Oh yes some were at HGDEP.

the 6944 seem to orginate form svc196 which had lo2x as well. 7133 as well. However 198 got a big batch of 7131 to 7138 new new. just that i did notice some lo2x n merc of 196 ended up on 157 in those days.
Svc 97 lo2x i recalll from memory are 6921 6927 6935 3567 these few. 6954 seem to be a cameo.

Remembered often took 6944, 7133, 7136, 7159, 7162, 7176, 7189 on 157 to school...![]()

Yeah still remembered the other LO2x from 157 like 6968, 7197 (Which later went to 334 during late 1997), 6985, 7148, 6929, 6960 (A BRBP bus which was transferred to JABP 243 during 1996) 3555 during the mid-1990s'. :)
Then during 1998 when many PAC trunk services were converted to FAC many of their LO2xs were transferred to 157 which was still a PAC at that time. Like 7123 (From 197, not so sure whether 7134 & 3571 had even did perm on 157 then), 6966 and 7145 (From 143), 7161 and 7191 etc (From 98)
And BTW does those ex 154 LO2xs like 7139, 7156, 7164, 7180, 6980 and 7182 does 154 perm throughout their whole lifespan?
I knew that 7116 were originally from 99 then.
And during the mid-1990s who can still remembers the perm LO2x on 240, 242, 243 and 334? Like 7137, 7122, 6986, 6996, 6958, 6964 etc on 240, 7172, 7187, 3558, 3561, 3568, 7120 3570 (Which was later transferred out of JRBP) etc on 334, 6988, 7183, 7186 etc on 242 and 7184 on 243? :D As for the JIS and 199 I don't really had much impression only that 246 doesn't uses DDs and 7125, 7192, 6993 etc doing 199 as well as some LO2x on JIS with blue colour SBS advertising ad (6977 is one of them.)
While for Svc 98 I can still remember 7142, 7152, 7161, 6990, 7191, 7188 etc serving this service and if I am not wrong 7161 and 7191 were transferred to BRBP to do 157 during somewhere in 1998/99.
As for 143, I can recall those JRBP Lo2x like 7163 (With a full bodied Olympus ad then), 7165, 7173 etc while there were 3560, 3562, 7175, 7145, 6966, 6911, 6916 etc on the BRBP side.
Then for 30, there were 7113, 7193, 7194, 7126, 3557 etc on its fleet while using Vo2x for the Bedok depot side.
And also who can forget the only 2 LO2x perms on 192 during that time? 7169 and 7171? :)
As for 51 and 197, the former uses 3550, 7185, 7190, 6965, 6943 etc (For 6965 it was transferred to 182 and 335 subsequently while 7185 and 7190 went to do 243 after the Svc becomes FAC) while 197 uses 3559, 3564, 3571, 7123, 7134 etc as their LO2x fleets.
i remember the days when SBS 242U, SBS 247G,SBS 494J,SBS 3887P plying on 232... but i heard that some buses were de-registered and the rest deployed to another service... but the good thing it is replaced with the Euro IV buses... but still, i just love the old buses... memories!
chiko, the olympus ad mentioned was the noticeable full-body ad on LO2X for svc 97 [then later perm on 333 after the exercise]
as for 143, the most famous one would be the Bee Cheng Hiang ad... From LO2X to LO3X to the current B9TL @.@ [somemore one of a kind in sg; no other svc has that brand's ads.]
think before the rationalisation exercise too, there's 3557 on 157 also. btw, the LO2X fleet still remained about the same with few changes even when loads of LO3X came in during 95/96? [some LO3X esp from JR side, quite a few taken out during the exercise in '98 to fill up 98, then in 99, 179 took a few LO3X fleet from there i think? =/] no wonder from '99 to early '03 there, the chance of taking an LO2X on 157 seems to be higher than that of the 3-axle cousin? also i noticed a few years back from '01 onwards, more MB O405s seemed to infiltrate 157 as replacements for LO2X... in which those on BR side slowly start to disappear from the fleet register while those in SL side still continue serving? =/
As for 334, there's 3551 to 3554, 3557 to 3559 /60 [3554 and 3560 transferred out i think].
got 1 time in 1996 i recall, there was white vomit on 3554, but almost 1 week still not cleared -.- on the floor of the lower deck.

If I'm not wrong, the last registration number for LO2x was 7197. I know 7198 is a VO2x. I recall that 7197 used to be on 334 but was later transferred to 335 and 333.

7163 did 143 until 1998 when 143 turns FAC, after than it gets re-deployed to 97 until 97 turns FAC somewhere in 2000 I think. The bus was with a later version of Olympus ad when it did 97.
After it get re-deployed out of 97, I still remembered that on one point of time it serves 331 until the Teban Garden rationalisation in 2002 in which 331 ceased to exist.
As for 334, if I am not wrong 6943, 6968 and 3553 were initially 334 before being re-deployed on 51, 198 and 242 respectively.
As for those JRBP LO3x in 157, 9125, 9082, 9115, 9104, 9155 and later 9128 came to 157 when 157 starts using Lo3X in 1996 and subsequently 9125, 9082, 9115 and 9104 (as well as 9110, 9123 & 9126 from 154) gets re-deployed to 98 when 98 turns FAC in 1998 and in returns 157 gets some ex 98 LO2x like 6990, 7161 and 7191 etc as replacement.
Then in 2001, 9128 and 9155 were also transferred to 179 (although a short while later 9155 gets re-deployed to 97) and 157 got another 2 LO2x (7167 and 7192) in return. So during the period between 2001 and 2003 there aren't any JRBP LO3x on 157 until early 2003 when 9039, 9072 and 9077 gets re-deployed on 157.
Speaking back to LO2x, who still remembers some of the BRBP LO2x gets redeployed to SLBP during early 2003 when it was near its end of lifespan? 6911 was one of them though when it serves 255 then.
And BTW during the LO2x days, 6966 was holding the BEe Cheng Hiang full body ad even until the bus gets re-deployed on 157.

7197 was a 157 bus until late 1997 when it gets its Yokohama tyre ads and transferred to 334. After that it gets re-deployed to 333. No impressions of whether it did 335 perm before.
i rmb taking 5678 on 157.
hmm, 97 also went FAC same time as 143, 197, 51, 98 and all those.
as for the rumour that O305s cameoed on 157 on certain occassions in '98/99, [the LA case, got picture] did it happen?
in short, LO2X deployment on trunks like 157/154 slowly started to be reduced from end '02 to 03 onwards till withdrawal?
oh and btw, alot of the 2Xs from feeder svcs became spares following introduction of MB O405/CAC mk2 into feeders? [1st in 1999, then 2000/2001 there more of them gradually till end of 3rd quarter 2003 then totally FAC i suppose?] recalled that SLBP did have space for some MK2s too despite the 'flood' of roughly 120 to 150+ LO2X from 2001 to early 2003 there, where some went for early retirement @.@

I guess 7197 wasn't perm on 335, but I did see it on 335 before. I guess it's just a temp. bus.
6935 is the only i can rmb on 335.

Yes. Service 3 back then... From Jurong east to Bedok
and did anyone noticed that the current CSS regos such as CSS178K, CSS179H etc are all recycled regos from the old NAC CSS buses in the early 80s?
