New Scania K230UB Buses are jerky?

The ride is pretty quiet (maybe because it's new?) except for the jerkiness that I encounter occasionally as well. Otherwise.... the design is not bad and I quite like the interior as well. Bright colours with ample standing space. Pardon me for those who loves to sit, but such buses are good in the morning & evening rush hours so that we don't always need to wait for a very long time just because the previous buses are fully packed.

I agree too. Since SBST has bought in 900 of them... it's impossible to send them back. Just live with it. U might learn to like it.

U guys are just too picky la.. These buses got great acceleration. Besides some of them jerk hard when they shift up gear(like some merc) but other problems really depend on the BC driving skills of how they control the bus.

I would recommend 8207U. That is one SL Scania I like so far.

The newer ones have less problems about jerking. Another point is that some of the buses have really clear and distinct transmission sounds, and the gearbox being ZF ecomats, when tuned right, is really music to your ears.

8034 has clear ZF sounds, not sure about now. only one thing i don't like about KUB, is that the radiator is too loud.

no that is evaporating fans for aircon. radiator removes heat from the engine, not from the bus bodywork itself. a good example would be some noisy radiator fans next to B10M's mid-mounted engine.

Volvo B7RLE is much cooler and nicer and better than KUBs. I prefer Volvo buses altough people say they sucks!

i recommend 8440L. acceleration really power when driven on expressways.
every this bus reaches bus stop, it accelerates and then came to a halt.

I do like the shape of the B7RLE from pictures and want to get a ride durign the holidays.How i wish i can meet you on SBS8030L.
