HK & sg buses are also similar in many ways.. Hopefully our local buses can capture worldwide attention of bus fans too!
HK buses vary in fleet and not forgetting livery on different buses. The model bus fans in HK are more into their own city buses

SBST twin pack bus model (Route 28): SGD139.90
NEL train model: SGD129.90.
Enjoy..

I'd encourage bus fans from HK to consider coming to Singapore for your next holiday trip to try out our local public buses as I find it a little similar to HK's. Maybe from then on, we may start to see our local bus models appearing for sale in overseas model shops! Likewise, I'd like to save up enough money to go to HK soon to try out the buses and trams, as I got the urge to fly there ever since seeing so many pictures of beautiful public transport there! Also, I must go to the HK model shop and buy up as many bus models as possible and put them all into my extra big empty luggage!
Be prepared to bring at least a thousand of dollars if you are trying to buy more than 20 bus models :)

Well said. The current generation now is very diff and the future gen is gg to be worse than this.No doubt abt that.Just look at how they control their parents. When we all were young we wouldn't even dare to command our parents like this.I just can't imagine what wld have happened to us if we had commanded our parents like this. The parents of the current and future gens are very very unlucky and are really gg to have a very hard time controlling their kids. This is all that i can say.

Your perspective might change when you are a parent yourself.

Means if you are a parent you will be strict to your children.
OT: Depends on individual parents, If for me I would not give my children a chance! Give him a rod to fish instead of giving him a fish.
Cheers.

but bus model manufacturers are nt wise to see that!
I actually wonder how much all of you are willing to spend on
1) A 1/76 bus model ?
2) 7cm compressed bus model?
3) A 1/150 bus model with backdrop?
4) A book on buses?
(Photos are taken from http://www.80mbusmodel.com/eshop/ )
For me, maybe:
1) SIN$80
2) SIN$15
3) SIN$15
4) SIN$30
Wonder what you guys would say?
5) And btw, is there any shop in Singapore selling bus models from Singapore, Hong Kong, London etc?

For a 1/76 model im willing to go up to $75 depending if its a special bus. If it is just a regular bus model, $65 is the most that i will give as usually a HK model will not cost above $60. Anything above that must think twice.
For the QBus, the most i go is $12. HK they are only selling it for $8-$9. I dont expect to pay too much for it though it is also a limited edition bus.
For the 1/150..
From my understand,
Not very popular cos its not as detailed as compared to the 1/76 and also the quality of the worksmanship is also not there. If im not wrong, its not really that limited thus im not really willing to pay as much as $15.
Book wise, HK$128..
If you do your maths, it only cost u about $26..
If someone were to sell me at $30..
Must consider.
