Now, because I have pasted the ads for 1month+ and I want to change it back to SMRT. Heres the steps:Firstly, place the paper onto the bus.
Press the outline of the bus.
After pressing the outline,it will be this.
Cut out the the outline.
And you will get this.
Then, remember to cut to a few pieces as when paper touches the glue, it will expand abit.
Glue the paper onto ur bus.(For me, normal paper suits my bus)
After pasting the bus, u will get something lke this.
(For full body ads, u can stop here)Then, cut the red tape and paste onto the bus.
Do the same for black tape and u will get this.
Lastly, put on the SMRT logoand its complete.
So how about the back? You use water glue ah? Do you use the MB0405 the other countries version? Coz looks familiar.U use the SMRT logo from the service guide?

Where did you buy the Metroline bus models from? Hong Kong or London?
Heading down to HK next month, PM me if you guys need anything...
I'd like to have the Volvo Olympian Metroline as posted by SBS9816E. Isn't that the de-registered SBS bus?
Correct me if I'm wrong...

Indeed it is. I found a page here about Metroline's Volvo Olympian buses, and at the bottom of the page they have information about the ex-SBS Transit bus that ended up in Metroline's fleet.
Not sure of the bus' original registration number, but SGWiki indicates that two Volvo Olympians were sold to the U.K.: SBS 7204J and SBS 7251Y. This one should be a model of either of these two buses as a U.K. bus.

I saw in off-service's blog that that bus with the rego bolded was in First Manchester.

From the slots at top of the windows (hopper windows). It's opened for fresh air similar to the UMW dennis lance. Not sure why most european NAC buses having windows that are fully covered, should be because of the climate.

see you Mailbox.

Yes, it's because of the climate. Much of the U.K. is very cool (by Singaporean standards) throughout the year - the hottest average there is 20.6°C in England, with Scotland and Wales being cooler. There's little reason to install air-conditioning on their buses, and hopper windows are usually enough to ensure ventilation within the buses - since it's so cool, it rarely gets hot and stuffy enough inside the bus for it to become intolerable. In Singapore though, with temperatures regularly hitting 30°C+ and high humidity levels, even fully-opening windows are sometimes not enough to counter the heat and stuffiness.
Interestingly, there's a ex-U.K. bus (a Leyland Alantean, I believe) in Malacca, Malaysia that still has the U.K.-specification hopper windows; instead of replacing the windows, the bus, even though it was a two-axle model, had an air-conditioning unit installed and turned into an air-conditioned bus. I guess that bus is the only non-open deck air-conditioned 2-axle double-deck bus in the world.

p.s. For those who don't know or are ignorant, do note that the United Kingdom = England + Wales + Scotland + Northern Ireland, each of which can be considered a seperate state under a country united as a single entity (Both England and Scotland actually has their own parliament, seperate from each other), hence their name United Kingdom.

Very cool pics.

...and after some digging on the internet, I found this page. It mentions that SBS 7204J became a First Manchester bus (fleet number 3016), and the Metroline bus (AV39) was SBS 7251Y.
So now we know which bus went where, and now we know that the model is a representation of SBS 7251Y after it went to the U.K.
