Guys,
I was informed of the impending relocation of JB checkpoint to a brand new JB CIQ complex approx 900m down the road.
Targetted date of opening is on 2nd Dec. However there were minor issues to be ironed out between SBST/SMRT Buses and the Malaysian authorities.
Will update on the confirmed opening date of the new CIQ complex in this thread.
Kotaraya II Terminal shall be renamed as Pasar Bakti Terminal in line with the opening of the new JB CIQ complex.
As such, SBST's svc 160/170 & SMRTB's svc 950 will have slight amendments to their routes.
For svc 950, the new route details are as follows when the new JB CIQ complex opens:
Woodlands Regional Interchange, Woodlands Ave 3, Woodlands Centre Rd, Woodlands CIQ, Causeway, Tg Puteri Bridge, Jln Jim Quee, New JB CIQ, Jln Lingkaran Dalam, Jln Terbau, Jln Tun Abdul Razak (new bus stop JB Sentral opp City Square), Persiaran Tun Sri Lanang, Jln Ayer Molek, Jln Gertak Merah, Jln Gereja, Jln Trus & Pasar Bakti Terminal
Return trip via Pasar Bakti Terminal, Jln Suleiman, Jln Wong Ah Fook, Jln Tun Abdul Razak, Jln Lingkaran Dalam, New JB CIQ, Jln Lumba Kuda, Tg Puteri Bridge, Persiaran Tun Sri Lanang, Causeway, Woodlands CIQ, Woodlands Rd, Woodlands Centre Rd, Woodlands Ave 3 & Woodlands Regional Interchange.

I do not have any info on SBST's svc 160 & 170 as of now.

Yeah it's one big round. If not for the bus stop opposite City Square, there is actually a much quicker route from Jln Lingkaran Dalam and Jln Abdul Rahman Andak.
isn't it good that people can alight at city square in future? ![]()
let's hope fare stages remains the same
Hmm, thats weird. JB CIQ is part of JB Sentral so why stop 2 times? But now good also cause no need to walk through that long underpass.

The fare stage may increase due to the longer detour taken to reach Pasar Bakti Terminal. Will let you know the fare stages in due course.

sorry for any offend
I'm also expecting fare stage to increase for this....
i sense an even longer frequency for S950. If they are not going to add any bus to the fleet and with the longer route that they now have to take..
