Speaking of which I dont remember seeing any non-OC on 851 recently... all the CAC's are just gone. 851 used to be spamming ground for CAC's.

There's still one or two CACs on 851, not too sure about regos.

Half-bendy and half-OC fleet for 851 would be sweet.... provided pax'es become less afraid of the proverbial tiger at the back of the OC...

TIB473B on service 980 today. TIB1018B is present on service 851 today. -

SMRT is so not sensible to put so many OC500LEs on a high demand service. Now I usually see 851 bunching very often. Either OC500LE with bendy or with a rigid. They should put OC500LE on some lower demand buses like 853 or 854.

Agreed. From the way the OC500LEs (and K230UBs) are designed, it's like a nightmare trying to go from the rear to the front in a super-packed bus. Especially if you're carrying bags or having children, and at the same time, trying not to "touch" other people's back, especially ladies.Putting alot of OC500LE may cause a reverse effect - people using more time to alight or board. hmm

At least it has been proven that the new generation of SDs (OCs and KUBs) are able to fit in more pax.

Woodlands may not be getting any OCs, not even SMB68-SMB132. But do hope so woodlands have. Erm is there a chances to see OCs when i travel from woodlands to bishan?

In my opinion, having OC500LE on high demand services like 190 and 851 is perfectly alright, provided it is on rigid slot, it have 34.5 seats which could match rigids 41 seats plus the extra standing area, can pack more people, however, OC500LE if replace bendy slot confirm CMI. However, i agree that 853 and 854 need OC500LE

Sekali people scared of going near the entrance because doorlessAs for Weiteck; don't be naive. There are many buses which does charter on regular basis (465A, 525K, etc)
