SMB51M has been doing service 854 for these days.

So, SMB50R on 171.....

No idea. Although there were rumours about it. Last week 45G on training along 980's route in Sembawang.
What we can do now is wait lor.

Was the desto on or in orange? If it's not you could have mistaken it for a Volgren Merc or Lance.

Um, there's a huge difference between an OC and Volgren merc and lance
-> White wheel rims, Gemilang bodywork, the rear which looks like wright design, and not to mention the extra right indicators on its right, and also a 3rd LED brake light.

How do you know that he saw the whole bus? He only claim to have seen the head. I'm only listing down possibilities that he might have mistook the bus an an OC500LE.
The front do look like a bigger version of the Volgren. I suggest you read this reply before you start telling me that rear looks the same. Head doesn't mean tail. Most people know that the rear of the OC is unique. We are talking about the head here.
Even he's not sure if he's seen the correct bus. You reply gives me the impression that you are very certain he has seen the OC500LE and not a Volgren bodied bus.

Note that TIB970H is a service 980 perm too.

You have misinterpreted my reply. I had no intention of giving you an impression i am certain that he saw an OC500LE nor was i replying to his question.
I was replying in regards to your reply "Was the desto on or in orange? If it's not you could have mistaken it for a Volgren Merc or Lance". I stated the other differences from the OCs from your Volgren merc/lance question apart from the orange EDS , which would be - White wheel rims, Gemilang bodywork, the rear which looks like wright design, and not to mention the extra right indicators on its right, and also a 3rd LED brake light.
Nvm.

Sorry I did not managed to spot the desto
But A/C unit that I saw Konvekta and not Denso, by looking at the shape.
I think we don't pursue on this case further if not it will go haywire and apologise for any confusion caused.![]()

Seems like SMRT could use some better seat upholstery fabric. Some seats on SMB8P already has the fabric torn.

It'll become the next complaint on STOMP. I miss the old fabrics of TIBS Vogelsitze...sit long trip journey still quite comfortable. Sit on the newest Volgelsitez from SMRT and SBST with the non-dust trapping fabric and the bum & back gets hot and uncomfortable after a whole.

At least the new seats are well cushioned. The old seats are mostly left with flatten cushion which makes one feel like sitting on wooden plank.

I was simply trying to point out that the fabric is not as durable as the older fabrics used, not meant to be a complaint in any way.

Yes, i got the point, except the way i phrased my reply got this misunderstanding.
Apologies. "It'll become the next complaint on STOMP" is referring to the STOMP community who may see the torn fabric and stomp it saying "it is a new bus and seats are already being worn in". ya.
@ off_service the best seats are found on Hispano Habits :D
I wonder wat SMB68R's bodywork will be..
