Anyway, i took 77 (TIB561E) today and as you all may have known, four bus stops before the int there's this give way to buses scheme. The BC thinks that approaching car will stop, so he accelerate to exit the bus bay. To his (and the passengers') surprise the car kept going and the bus almost had a collision with the car. BC horned at him.
Another testimony about the problems of this scheme.

had the same problem just yesterday onboard SBS 7499A on 174.
the taxi nearly hit the bus.
i think the problem is that unlike bus drivers, normal random motorists are quite foreign to this new scheme.
of course, this trial period will help iron out flaws.
if we keep thinkin anythin singapore does sure fail, then please, lead the way.
