Aiya~ you want expressway choing bendies~ take 190 ![]()
15 minutes of expressway entertainment from Orchard -> BP ![]()

but sadly, that cameo is not a slot from 966. on that faithful day, TIB868X did 966 as a 963 crossover.

If 15 mins, then not entertainment liao cos the buses going at ~60 only. The chiongsters can complete the journey in 10 mins.
966 should really get crossover bendies at least. I always see 110% load rigids at 7.30 from BPJ towards marine parade. Yet people will still try to squeeze on board cos the next one will come in >10mins, unlike 190.

At least 20~30 minutes I guess? Lucky I don't frequent 966 often unless I'm joyriding.
So.. SMRT got popular service, still don't want to give better treatment..

Eh, popular only at certain periods of time, X-over would be suffice...
evening runs are crowded due to jams which delay the arrival of bus... There are times when the 1st bus is crowded, the follow on bus is ok

Now I get it.. Went to have a look just now. It was okay till there was a bus packed till the BC allowed commuters to get in from Exit door... But the follow on bus didn't take so long to arrive and was quite empty...

unless they deploy in a way such that 2 standard buses leave WL Int together towards Marine Parade

Control do not need to do that, it's the time of passenger loading... Buses leave on schedule fr Woodlands Int. As certain crowds ALWAYS board at certain times[sv966 in particular], it will delay the scheduled timesheet arrival of sv966 at their respective bus stops which is why the next bus is able to play catch up... So if you are a regular sv966 user, dun try to squeeze up a crowded bus, the next one is just behind...[subject to Traffic conditions along E'way]

I'm a regular off-peak S966 user and I don't really face these problems...... But nowadays I realised that S966 now getting bunched..... I'm seeing S966 every 5 mins.

Lolx.. Once the front door opens (for any SMRT very packed service), I will always make sure that I can squeeze through in no matter what.. So far haven't experience it much on Service 966 but I did it for quite a number of times for Service 190 and 960..
Hope there will be perm bendies for the split shift
S966 needs more S-Shifts for the peak hours...... A/P is ok......

966 would still be having problems thanks to the bad traffic at PIE near Toa Payoh as per normal, especially on Fridays.

The traffic near Toa Payoh is almost the same every weekday. Please justify/quantify your statement.

More buses means more commuters able to board. Yes, the traffic near Toa Payoh is almost the same on a weekday.
Sorry double post.

Bus loading at certain bus stops... When the bus reaches Still Rd South, the turnaround reduces, tt explains the play catch up on the front bus

Eunos MRT a lot of people get off the bus. Unless commuters at Still Rd wants to go Marine Parade.

Eh, you dun need to do it for sv190, 960 especially sv190 where there are several dwontrips esp evening as bus starts their run os YMCA return to CCK

Service 190 and 960 are high demand service. Downtrips are common for high demand services.
So which bus was the one that was deployed today?
I didnt know there were changes in timing for 966 so i missed the bus today. Normal timing for a 966 arriving at pending stn is 11.11am, but came at 11.05 today. Missed the bus even though i came down early. At least SMRT should inform us about the change.
Now have to start waiting and finding for new timing again, xian...
