The extension part of Jurong Point would be open on next week 10 Dec 2008 (Wednesday) but not the interchange. Singapore's Largest Suburban Mall.
The new interchange layout is shown on the Jurong Point webpage.

Bascially the layout is the same as the former Boon Lay Int

Any idea when the Interchange will open?
Wow...the area looks pretty large scale to me.... More reasons for shopping man...
i wonder how much the aircon bill is per month.

Not that big lah. See the bus bay. So BIG! LOL.... And I doubt its Aircon for the bus bay. LOL...
I hope the design of this new bus interchange is better and you do not have to walk that much. I really pity those NTU students. They seriously walk a lot from Jurong Point to get to the 179 bus bay.

Yea... the bus-interchange is shaped like a big '"C" when you come out of the MRT control station. Boarding 157 is also a hassle.

There's a traffic light to cross the access road into the interchange =P
Well... it all depends on where your location is.....pretty subjective here....

And the aircon interchange is abit weird for VO2Xs
Aircon -> Suddenly the bus is NAC.

Eh if 28, 90, 155 and 157 used NAC buses back then in the current Toa Payoh Int, why not?

Toa Payoh different, cos the bus bays(end ons+sawtooth areas) were 100% open air. the bus bays(for sawtooth area) in BNL int were sheltered, like Sengkang int.

I guess u would not see as much compared to now cos some move to JK ter.
boon lay so many people, die faster also nvm at least i got space to walk next time.
Its obvious that we have to wait till JK ter to open before they can start to shift into this new interchange. Think about it. Theres only about 6 berths on 1 side of the int. Take away 2 berths for alighting and u are left with 4 berths for boarding. Is that enough ? Even if you add in the other side of the int, the most they can fit in is berths enough for like 4 or 5 services at most.
Seriously, Boon Lay is getting smaller and smaller.

Joo Koon Terminal isnt developed yet. There's still some time before the new Boon Lay Int is up.
