so what happened? As in, how did the fire start?
Are SBST's B9TL affected if it's a fault with the bus itself?

Electrical wiring fault.
A massive fire indeed...
hope no commuters were injured at time of incident..

maybe, but i think it could also be overheating of A/C, based on e fact that e fire came out from e above vents, not those below where e engine is.
Yeah so far no official reports are out yet so actual reason is not known. Fire might have originated from the air conditioning unit as pointed out.
The depot fire in March at Tsin Tzi Bus Park (Tuen Mun Depot/U Depot) was caused by faulty wiring on a Enviro 500.
Hmmm... seems like the fire came from the air-conditioning unit, but until the official investigation report is out, it's rather unhealthy to speculate.
As for whether our B9TLs will be affected, it's really hard to say. Our B9TLs are somewhat different from the Hong Kong ones, with different bodywork for example. Whatever problem that might be in the Hong Kong B9TLs may or may not affect our ones, depending on which parts were responsible.
for the 6minibus it's related to blackmailing.... someone ask for protection money eariler....
is that a B9TL or B10TL?what happened, just left HK few days ago den this happen...
