I think that's for you to find out for yourself. =)
Why do new Scania buses look shorter? Are they same length as older ones?

Then there's no point of having this thread over here at all.

I'm quite sure 534, 553, 563 & 564 goes back to the parent service after premium

Ok lah make it sound nicer. ![]()
All E shift crossovers go back depot straight after Premium, selective S Shift buses (like 85 ones) head back to depot, others (like 33) go back to parent service.

Give you some guidence.. for those parent services with e-timetables, you see if there's an allowance for an extra trip or a trip to create mealbreak for A shift drivers. Then these buses go back to service, else its off service.
E shift ones obviously go off service.
Just want to ask:
1) How do you confirm that a particular bus is a spare/perm on that service?
2) What is the timing for shifts? Eg. S shift is ?am/pm to ?am/pm.
3) What is the AM/PM peak/off peak timing?
Thanks.

let me fill you in. Most info taken from sgwiki
1995
S37 was introduced in 1995 from Tampines to Changi North Crescent. Since this service uses a small section of the TPE it can be included here.
S53 was introduced in 1994 which looped at Hougang St 22 from Bishan. It was extended to Changi Airport in 1995 via Elias Rd. It was amended to Pasir Ris Dr 12 when the junction at Elias Rd/TPE ceased to exist in 1996.
S81 plied the entire Tampines Rd (Old) to Elias Rd before the junction with TPE ceased to exist. It was amended to ply TPE and Pasir Ris Dr 12 thereafter.
1997
S858 was introduced in Feb 1996 in-lieu of the Woodlands Extension Rationalisation. It was extended to Changi Airport in 1997, and then call at Jln Kayu in 2001.
1999
S88 was introduced in Feb 1999 as part of the Sengkang bus network expansion plans.

S866 was renumbered from 59 in Feb 1999 under TIBS when they extended it to Sengkang Terminal. It was handed over to SBS Transit on 25 Jul 1999. It was renumbered to 86 in Dec 1999.

S965 was introduced in Sun 7 Jul 2002
2003
S3 was extended from Pasir Ris St 71 to Punggol in early 2003
S39 was introduced in 2003. It was extended to Jln Kayu in mid-2004.
2005
S34 was introduced on Sun 31 Jul 2005 as part of SBS Transit's expansion plans to introduce new services
2006

2007
S109 was introduced on Sun 28 May 2006
Sidetrack a bit.. if not for the TPE, S21 S58 S88 buses would have a problem going back amdep/bram from Pasir Ris
. S21 was majority hgdep then transferred to bndep back then.

Toa Payoh Depot and Braddell Bus Park are two different depots, Toa Payoh depot was located at Lor 8 (current industrial park side) as a UBC (one of the three chinese bus companies which formed SBS) depot and Braddell only came out in the late 1970s/early 1980s when SBS decided to have a new HQ (its old one was in Changi), and this led to the closure of Toa Payoh Depot, this means that the Scanias were from bram.
