Also, in that section of sgwiki, what does the timing in brackets beside the actual timing represent?
You can try spotting every SMRT service in the morning and see if you find any downroutes... (:
Basically for alot of SBST services we have the e-timetable that displays the departure timings of bus stops. Hence it's easy to see a downroute. I believe for other non-ETT services it was done by pure spotting a.k.a. the old school method.
Since SMRT has no online timetables the only way for you to see any downroutes without the old school method is to go read every single timesheet. Otherwise the only other choice is to do spottings in the morning.

the downroute for 190 is still on.
I remember that 985 have a bendy crossover. Doing a downroute at Jln Anak Bukit to Choa Chu Kang Int. The other downroute I recall every morning is the 975 bendy crossover. From Brickland Road to Bukit Panjang Int.
Are earlier KUBs fitted with euro 4 engine while the most recent ones use euro 5?

For many years now its easy to spot an SBST service on early morning downroute even before e-timetables came into existance.
Go to the first/last bus timings for a particular bus stop will do. The site still has this function today.
Last time SMRT website does not have the above function, and still doesnt have. However, you are able to obtain their early morning downroute times at publictransport.sg as the board of every single bus stop in singapore can be found there.
Happy searching.
*btw tamago was the one who started out that page in sgwiki so credit to him for that.

Now iirc, 975 bendy crossover replaced by TIB828L...

SBS2818X on 16 was the one you took
SBS2837R on 175 also has a similar layout, except it has a Panasonic Lumix theme instead. The bucket seats are also similar. The only thing is that instead of advertising the TV it advertises cameras instead.

SBS TRANSIT SCANIA K230UB having 2 design on the bus?? One is that handles on the bus some are yellow, some are purple while the other is all purple handle...

The yellow handles one near the exit door are on the (i believe) the first few buses. It is most likely there to serve as a visual cue that there are steps to the rear/ separation of partitions.
Later batches all change full purple grab poles
My question today is - why is the granny seat dubbed the granny seat?
