  Thanks, I believe the same timings was given earlier in this forum.

  I followed the afternoon timing and reached Punggol interchange at 1700 hrs, unfortunately, I didn't managed to see or catch the bus.

  In the end, took a Trident.

  Nevertheless, I will try this timings again in the coming weeks.

  Anyway, I would also like to have SBS9889U timings from AMK Interchange as well, if possible. Thanks.

  it was coined by one of the fellow guys here when 8030L first came out. It was the first bus to have it.

  As you know grannies have big butts right? the 1.5 seating somehow reflects a granny having to take up the entire seat if she wants to sit down.

  Another version is when grannies bring their grandchildren out can use that seat.

  Sorry guys, it maybe a stupid question.. hope u guys can clear my doubts.

  For service 195, i understand that the BC changes shift or stopover at Marina Terminal. I would like to ask if BC are swapping duties in the afternoon right, so the "P" shift driver got to travel all the way to Marina Ctr to do that? If that the case, possible to see more than 5 BC taking the same svc to Marina Ctr and they got to depart home like abt an hour or more earlier?

  there's an early P shift that starts from arbp. Drivers may wish to park their bikes or whatever at arbp and hitch a hide on this bus down to marina centre.

  speaking of this, i wonder how 400 and 402 change their shifts. AMDEP > Shenton Way? *faints.

  997A will never do perm slot. It will just do any S or E shift except its own perm slot.

  This week they operate on Thursday, Friday and Saturday

  Eve of PH is Thursday

  Why is yellow ambient lighting not used on the K230UBs and OC500LEs? They look great on the B10M Mark 4s and I'm sure the new buses would look elegant with ambient lighting instead of the current ugly fluorescent lamps.

  dimmer but good ambidence pple complain not bright

  brighter but not good ambidence pple complain not nice

  anyway a bus is just for a trip, is not a cafe which you wanna have a cuppa with your gf/bf

  so dun complain liao,

  what happens to those badges like "VOLVO" or bodywork badges go to when they are removed from the bus? why do they remove them anyway?  makes the bus feel unoriginal...

  why sbs last time nvr repaint the mk2 just take away the old sbs logo?

  Those Mk IIs that were not repainted/remove SBS logo were more or less due for the scrapyard/dereg in another few weeks of service. Those that had lifespan extensions were repainted.

  Removed the SBS logo because SBS was SBS Transit.
