External appearance
Likely i got miss out some other vital points. So far i only saw the Euro (EE)Vs, haven't got to board one, so these are gathered facts

I think some using the normal ones with the door closing sign.
any double decks operating on svc 78 on sat & Sun? or only peak hours?

- Extra pole above the 4 piority seats on the left that supposedly stops the vibrations when the bus is moving (Euro V)
- The door closing is a red strip of light
- Euro (EE)V engine lol
External appearance
- The front grey portion is rounded instead of streamlined with the front
- The EDS on the left is now at the top to allow passengers seating on the left front seat to see out to the left
- The aircon pod design is different (looks more conventional now)

i believe Hanover EDS is more durable and more maintenance free compared to Koolair/transit media... often see DT svc 89 & scania k230ub buses with faulty EDS.

78 have double decks running on S shift on weekdays and T shift on Saturdays. They don't operate on sundays.

The OC500LEs have the yellow area at the entrance too i remember
With no steps to define the door's "private space", people sure kena whack one. There was one time i saw one guy on a very crowded Scania and his body blocked the bus door from opening ![]()

are all the BNDEP MKIVs in perm 196/196e depart from clementi one by one? like in this sequence 1929r > 2597h > 2627e, 2707h

So as to fit in the sequence with 196e.
does Service 3A start from anywhere else other than tampines interchange? saw SBS8220E at pasir ris central before the traffic light junction to the bus stop outside pasir ris MRT station with EDS off at about 8.20pm on 13th april. BC was outside of the bus. wasn't sure if its a breakdown since about 5 minutes later, the BC went back on the bus, display Service 3A's eds and went to pick up passengers from the bus stop.

Another place more commonly start by Service 3A is Pasir Ris Central. Previously there was no SWT beyond PM peak but ever since they adjust the schedule there's now 3A after pm peak. Refer to TL09 for last bus timing (not the late night one)

there's the staff canteen at T2.

Yup. But unfortunately BCs are not airport employees(and that goes for the Green Men as well) and I don't think SBST has a standing arrangement with CAAS to allow them to pay Staff rate for canteen food at the Staff Canteens. Correct me if I am wrong please.
Sidetrack a little, but the Staff Canteen at T1 has much more variety than the one at T2(which is at the end near the Carpark and is so inaccessible). Also easier to access. If only the BCs had a long enough break to allow them to go to the T1 canteen(prices are cheaper and lots more variety).

If there's goodwill between the stallholders and the BCs then that leaves to be seen. 36 drivers meal break are very long.. the least should be about 25-28min. longest around 45min.
