  iirc the crossover comes from 153, departs HG INT at around 7+am.

  153 no longer supplements 9669M for the morning x-over to 161. 2 S shifts crossover from 107 instead, buses if I'm not wrong, 9657Y & 9658U.

  Does anyone know why SBST or SMRT doesn't buy American-branded buses. I think they look cooler and more high-tech (some of them). And maybe Neoplans too, they look so great!

  Might be more expensive to import because it's so far away. And there is the issue of whether the American buses are suitable for SG uses, like availability of spare parts.

  sometimes i wonder whether our dear friend has the ability to do the central bus planning system, unless they get people from both SBST and SMRT to help out..

  Since no one answered me when i posted this qn on another thread, i shall post it here.

  May I ask, how long after a bus does a certain service will you guys then consider the bus to be a perm of that service?

  once the bus appears in roster / sticker on bus then considered perm.

  or sometimes even if you know the bc who is driving the bus, you can ask him/her.

  I'm interested in LTA's bus regulations, which states that each passenger should have about 0.125 square metres of standing space, or about 35 cm by 35 cm. They say this figure is obtained from European standards, but it seems a rather small area to me. Anybody knows where I might find out more about this?
