there is a confusing part on Svc 198 deployment in sgwiki, 12AM-PM/3T is equal to 14 buses operating? or 15? or 16(from " Svc 198 operates with only 16 buses during Sundays/PHs)?

Depends on the service. Short routes like feeders tend o have more trips than those long journe services. You get the idea.

when its time that their corporate identity is getting outdated and need some fresh stuff/ideas etc.. and also to keep themselves relevant.
with reference to our DTs in SG, suspicions confirmed , they are from HK > CITYBUS, source from corgi website... i was looking at the MAN model when i chance upon this...
" These buses were initially ordered by Citybus, as a part of their proposed fleet expansion programme in the late 1990s. However, around September 1999, Hong Kong's Transport Department imposed a fleet quota on all franchised bus operators in Hong Kong, which seriously affected Citybus's fleet expansion proposal. Therefore, Citybus was forced to cancel the order for these new double deckers (together with at least two Volgren bodied MAN 24.310 double deckers), when in fact Berkhof has already built 32 of them! Meanwhile, Citybus has also gave up two 'optional orders' for 20 Duple Metsec bodied Dennis Tridents and 20 Volvo B6LEs at the same time. "

196 is under BBDEP and BNDEP. Hence it doesn't do jumpbus.

This crossover doesn't exist. S851 has been getting the batch 2 OCs recently, so the batch 1s do cameo lor.
Originally posted by lifelikedrama:the last axle is double wheels each. total 8. iirc...
i always thought 10 leh. LOL.

okay. firstly. do you know what the term x-over mean?
alot of bus fan dun get it till now lol.
crossover is a DUTY SHIFT involving a parent service crossover to a sub service. LIKE SBS2998J on 105 22S which will crossover by schedule every Weekday to 334 at 1836 hours for 1 trip.
cameo is when a sp bus does some service or a 851 PERM does 854. put it this way, why does 48Z and 49X keep cameo-ing 854 when it perm 851?
SMRT side dun ask me.
