Yes, KJ used to dominate BB while WL had most of BPJ.
171 could have come under BPJ control maybe due to it under the BPJ sector whereby svcs such as 180, 184, 176, 975, 177 are the only KJ controlled BPJ svcs then. Svcs 75, 970, 700, 920, 921 (then), 922 all belonged to WLDEP. Svcs 920 and 922 were then transferred to KJDEP in June 2008, but came back under WL control. The only perm bus that served before and after KJDEP control on 920 is TIB541M
But why would 700,75,970,920 and 922 come under WL's control? i mean Kranji is the nearest one to report back. why go so far?

It's SMRTB's buses and SMRTB's services. They can make anything happen. There had been rumours last time about YIS Feeders moving to WL control due to complaints over the overnight parking at YIS Int, but it didn't happen but would have been totally ridiculous if it happened. Its like saying CCK/BB Feeders would go to AMDEP control ... ...

171 was from full AM to AM/WL. At the same date after 852, 859 went full WL from full AM, 961 became WL/AM from full WL, 985 from full KJ to KJ/AM. AM 985 inherited ex-AM 852 dennis Lances.
To conclude, some of WL 961 buses went over AM 961, 5 AM 171 buses and KJ 173 permers went over KJ 970, ex-WL 75 Scanias went over WL 171. WL 173 inherited some of WL 75 and WL 970 merczs. WL 61 get WL 700 merczs.
Unsure about KJ 75 fleets though.
Maybe can talk about June redeployment (2nd Round) on past route & deployments as this thread is talking at qns about Singapore buses.

961 wasn't affected in the March round. It was done in January 2008.
Svc 61 didn't inherit full batch of Svc 700 perms. Its kinda mixed with those Svc 970 ones as well and for WL 173 there was a weird addition of TIB588D (which was a WL 187 at that time). KJ 75 if I remember correctly used many DAFs at that time ... ...
Well, June round deployment had nothing much to it, except for the fact that the old permers of all the svcs affected went back to their ex-perms under a different depot (Those under WL 75, 700, 970 by this time are under KJ 75, 700, 970; e.g. TIB1062Y which was supposed to be WL 61 then went over to KJDEP to perm KJ 700, TIB469P was a WL 173, then WL 859 but was thrown over to KJDEP to perm KJ 75). That explains why Scanias ended up in KJDEP (TIB671X TIB672T were Svc 75 permers, TIB839E was a Svc 970) . However minority of the buses did manage to escape this round of deployments (TIB744U was a WL 970 but in the end stayed as a WL 61, TIB595H was a WL 700 but stayed as a WL 61).
And speaking about ads I wonder if the Active Learners' Kindergarden ad are expired? For years they had been there but none of the buses got it removed ... ...
hey are u guys using iris? sometimes the next bus reads 38 mins more for the next bus.... and very often, that bus is so full that many cant board.
some points i dont really understand though. Why do 88,25,151 gets more B9TLs than 174, even though they arent WAB services?

But the service u mention are all not in same depot as 174 which is SLBP. And SLBP gt limited SP B9 as all are used to perm 143 and 51 which has a higher demand i guess.
