they were intially planned to go WAB but due to shortage of satisfying WAB requirements, plans are on hold for now.

looks like official WAB services will steal B9s from 88 and 25 when demand requests it. no more liao 88 and 25 not eligible to become official WAB

its like more than 18 months since they got it, 19 months to be exact.
and why 161 has it in the past, even though they dont fulfil the requirements of a WAB

by then all Volvo/Leylands wouldve been de-registered, maybe then.
is there a chance to see 161/168 to get KUBs?
i have a feeling that the rego will start from SBS 7500 something to 7649 though. but never guaranteed

some leylands will only go when the new B9TLs come in. in future, all services will be able to get kub cameo.

it's just that some WAB-based services can get more B9TLs than those non-WAB services just get lesser, like 174

well 174 was one of the last few ADD services to WAB. there was not enough B9TLs left to go around and so 174 koped its B9TLs from 51. 51 had to add B9TLs from the remaining SP ones.

where did 51 kop the SP from? Hougang?
and i know that there are cameos for B9TLs on 174 though. It's somewhat strange that 198 didnt come under SL's control. i know the reason, but sometimes i think it makes sense, sometimes i dont
