Questions to ask the pros...Can service like 800,903 and 913 do with at least 1 perm rigid bus in their full bendy fleet?Good to see 1 or 2 bendies kope from other feeder service for 171.

Well, there was a period of time where rigids kept appearing on A/P slots on Svc 913 and the service still could cope. During peak hours it seems that 913 loads aren't as high as most of the other intratowns/feeders. Furthermore many people who live around the Woodlands Circle prefer to alight at Admiralty MRT and are also known to choose Svc 964, 969, 965 if any of them arrives faster. As for MSL Rise area there is still 178 (although it has horrid frequencies)?
As for Svc 903 such arrangement is not possible. The frequency of Svc 903 as stated in the copy of SMRT's Town Guide I have is approx. 5mins. The queue is also the longest among the feeder services and 1 bus is not enough to carry off the entire queue at WRI most of the time during the peak hours. If you want to see an example of Svc 903's loads using rigids there is the 903/961 crossover slot where the bus would be filled to the door with people squashed to the glass panels (Cram Jam style) when it reports back to WRI regardless of the bus used is a Scania, Box Merz or OC. RP students also sometimes use Svc 903 to avoid the massive queues for Svc 902 and Svc 169 somehow. In the afternoon Svc 903 becomes a school bus for the secondary schools in the area that it plys and half-filled buses during off peak hours are also rather common ... ...
Another arrangement is maybe to remove one bendy from Svc 911 and revert that slot to a rigid one. Think Svc 911 shld be able to manage and the commuters should have been used to it for the past few years when there was only one bendy (TIB1139K, perm 911S201 slot) plying the route that time ... ...
Couldnt agree with you more,Sometimes see 913 with few pax inside.

these are a few ways (BNDEP only)
- See DM 3500 on feeders, most prob cameos
- SBS 9355T/ SBS 9231S on other services except 225- cameo
- See mercs on 87/ 168 cameo
- Morale of story, if you know X bus service mostly is Y type of buses, if Z type of buses in services- cameo
for me, i would know take note of SBS896H, SBS932L, SBS2770Z & SBS2784J each time i go boon lay since these 4 buses like to run around SLbP svcs like mad.
Hi,
I just wonder why there is no trolley bus in singapore.
is this because the electricity comes even more expensive?

Hah, thank you for the answer and warm welcome. i came from China and now studying in NTU.
So you mean that SBS and SMRT are actually operating with positive profit?
Before the pre-SMRT era, is it rare to see 178/187/852 on a OAC/Volgren/CAC mercz
Have SMRT decided to scrap the balance Elbos?Pity, why not they refurbish 3-4 buses and use it for 981 or 177?

Best is either give 852 to KJ or dual ctrl with WL and let Hino run the show
