i prefer to see them running around actually...
wahh long time nvr post...anyways, juz wondering, is it possible IF the sp soon chow volvo [former sv 78] can transfer to BNDEP, then serve sv 42...maybe then darts can be deregistered ?? somemore the SC volvo are lesser than 12m.
Sorry about this question but does anyone know what is the substance that makes up the ads you see on buses? Those that are full-body "plastered" on. Is it just colored laminated paper printed with the ad and pasted on with adhesive or is it a plastic-based material that is pasted with adhesive?

I believe length is not an issue although the 3 point turn is rather tight, as mk3s and dm3500s cameo on 42 before quite long ago.. sooner or later, the 12m buses have to take over the darts.. I cannot imagine Scanias on 42.. or withdraw 42 and introduce a short service from siglap area to kembangan or bedok..

Its plastic.
i wonder how they manage for the teared down advertisement? just throw away? seems like this way is environmentally-unfriendly.
Its actually called vehicular sticker. There's a shop at bras basah complex that sells that. About $20 for a sticker about the size of the side Metal plate.

The constraining aspects of consumerism.![]()
It also sells other stickers too... Indoor, outdoor, glass(Stick outside), glass (stick inside), glass (porous, like bus window ads) etc etc.
Just wanna ask, how many trips of SV23A are there? isit just 2 trips done by SBS 8231Z or more?
Lastly, the timing of 23A please.
Thanks =D
Wanna ask what is the percentage of buses if a certain service to be declared WAB?60% or 50%?

ok thanks, wonder why it was not deployed to svc.
Why services like 154 and 30 last bus timing is 1220am... whereas other trunk buses end as early as 11pm

They are plastered on, some can see they are tearing down le. Plastic.
As for the windows area, not really sure.
They actually paste the adverts this way, cover the windows first then paste over the plastic which i think is made out of different material. If you own a vehicle or take a bus one day and the vehicle parks near to an advertised bus, you can see there are layers of layers of thin plastic. The ones over the window is slightly darker or lighter than the one on the metal body of the bus itself from the angle of light direction.

coz both buses serve at a housing estate... Taman Jurong (act as a feeder service)
thats explains why

Assuming 30 154 last bus depart at 12am, there's still 240 for people at taman jurong.
The more important reason was what tamago said - last JIS bus (with 246 last bus at last stop at 0018, 257 last bus at last stop at 0020) to connect them to 30 154.
As to why 157 doesnt depart at 0020, i dont know.
