Since the time SV128 is introduced. And these 2 KUB will do SV269 before commencing SV128. Consider it somewhat like CT8/268 xover relationship. =D
The 2 KUB will do SV269 during Weekday Peak.
The reason behind 980/857 getting bendies is it because of the crowds during weekends around the Novena/Suntec area? just to ask

So far, none

Should have dropped more Lances over though

Usually during the weekends, Those banladeshi workers head to little india just to slack or whatever it is lah. They may have their own transport to bring them but some may find taking public bus convenient- That is normally the case for 980 and sometimes 857 after conducting a 'research'
For 857, it's abit different. People from Suntec use 857 as an alternative rather than squeezing inside the train. So, yeah, that should be a few reasons why those buses need bendies to cater with the increase of demands during the weekends.
You may correct me if i'm wrong

i will check out during the weekends though (980), 857, i believe it has to do with Suntec
But then,857's PH already squeezed TTM, why don't they employ bendies?

I would like to question the ez-link card system in place. I have noticed on several occasions that the ezlink readers display the same fare stage through the journey. I was on 2816B operating on svc 28 today, going home from Tampines Int. I realised that the ezlink reader displayed the same fare stage, 1.0, through the journey. Is this just a display error or the driver did not change the fare stage? I have only seen this happening on SBST buses so far.

also happens on SMRT Buses too. it happens when VLS fails and requires SL/BC to manually update the fare stage. some BC/SL just simply do not care, or some do not know of the situation, and just let it be. however, if they are really down on luck and a TI happens to board, haha...then i wouldn't know how the BC/SL will suffer...

no, i prefer taking bendies, as i want to see how crowded it can get for 980
i heard someone mention that the ez card reader can tell the bus driver whether they are on time or late. can someon explain exactly how it works?
