That was when CSS closed and the bus fleet was handed back to SMRT. CSS310U is currently TIB1257C.

i know the bus is currently TIB1257C. What I did not understand is why is it in CSS rego. Thanks for clearing my doubts

That's because it was once on 608 and bear the CSS livery, but if im not wrong it was in AKIRA full body advert

Some Nissan also have CSS rego but in SMRT Livery.
This bus is the first Dennis Lance to be on road last time before TIBs. The bus was registered during the CSS time. After TIBs changing to SMRT, the CSS handed this Dennis to SMRT. It was first painted to SMRT livery before becoming TIB1257C.

It could be that it got spraypainted into SMRT livery either at Geylang Terminal or somewhere else, but its true that this pic is so long ago. The paint looks fresh. -

CSS DAF Hispanos and CSS310U were dominated by ads in the past.. and yes CSS310U was repainted into SMRT livery in SSB Geylang Depot.
CSS310U do not start off with EDS, like other TIBS Dennis Lance did. It uses the blue 605 and 608 destos. -
SIngapore Safety driving centre has shifted to woodlands from YCK
it's located opp SBST AMDEP. Do you think that is a possibility for a new AMDEP to be built there or SMRT's depot ?

I am quite certain 5193 is a "U" for its last alphabet. Instead the wiki page in the link above stated a "C". So I would like to ask is it really purely a error? Another query, does the range of 50XX numbers actually end to 5193 or 5196 as the info in wikipedia was conflicting with sgwiki?

Ok I have edited it for the time being as I was very sure of the mistake in alphabet in 5193, as I have also double checked with sgwiki.com, but still would like to confirm with you guys about the info - whether the info in sgwiki is accurate or in wikipedia, as both sites display different range of numbers for the 50XX series, and it actually ends to 5193 or 5196 as the info in wikipedia was also conflicting with sgwiki, so it can be edited again. (:

15 / 155 - Telok Kurau Estate
32 - definitely not Margaret Dr as the old Sv. 5 had DDs plying along that stretch of road.
33 - Telok Kurau Estate / Joo Chiat
16 - goes under Merdeka Bridge (3.3m height limit) towards Bedok
135 / 155 - Upp Aljunied Rd
