As far as I know, the tridents are mantained worse than the PSVs if possible.
the HG TRG SC MKIVs are much better than the SLBP SC MKIVs. the engine sound heard by both of them passing is different.

That's may also be bcos the ones at HG don't get stressed as much as the SL ones....that much you have to recognise. -

i think i've received much news of 2598E breaking down more often than ever, ever since its transfer to SLBP.

Seriously I don't see the point of discussing such an issue.It's beyond our control and it has also mostly been points of contention.......

dunno leh.. I took so many I had nv experience. Took SBS 2704R today, the sound is solid. SBS 2788Z, SBS 2784J is marvellous. SBS 2598E had been such a loud radiator when it was in BBDEP. The A/C.. haiz.. -

i can't see any reason why this topic is discussing towards MKIV PSV SCs when its supposed to discuss about the k230s. i won't even be surprised if this leads to flaming. there's no need to criticise or praise about the depots currently. SLBP, HGDEP, both depots are good and bad in their own ways.

It does not explain HG and the tridents.
Manteinance on the tridents are not much better (ignore the spare parts issue here).
Edit: I mean....it takes donkey years to replace things like EDS backlights, rearlights. And I'm not exaggerating....its really YEARS. And tridents being laid-up is not something uncommon.
drive train and bodywork not common = more time spent waiting for spares

My wish for sbstransit or smrt to introduce this new superbus from Scania K310ud on singapore road in the year 2009. very nice looking bus in hong kong.
This year will go hong kong to catch this new bus.

I see that u feel very victorious that svc 29 has gotten kubs.maybe svc 29 got kubs since the fleet is made up of old buses and that since the N113s have to go off soon. -
