Oh man.Hopefully they are doing some touch up to the bus or repairing it's some problem or whatsoever. -
SBS82P is offically de-registered today, should be at SKS now. (not sure)

its not possible.. Retiring buses with maintenance issues have its other spare parts removed for other buses and partly becuase of getting rid of older buses due to the newer euro 5 KUBs. -

Buses that are de-registered will still stay at the lay up corner for 1-2 weeks before bound to the scrapyard. -

It's not possible if 20 deregistered buses towed in one short in a row. Maybe 3-7 buses will be towed per week. -
I took 82P during its BR 157 days

SBS82P is not deregistered yet. Today is last day.. tomorrow will then officially deregistered. the bus is still in AMDEP. AMDEP will use the parts from this bus for other mercs first before sending to the scrapyard.

Offically deregistered = taking out the regos & some parts which still can be used before sending 2 SKS?Jus lik SBST did to SBS526B?

they can take out the parts of the bus for other mercs when it is laid-up and use them for other mercs. once its is deregistered, they still could, but they cannot run on the roads anymore.

Officially Deregistered = records remove from LTA. bus can be still physically there.. they wont take out the rego plate lah. SBST can keep the deregistered buses for several months in their depot (depending on the space availability)...

Why not send SBS 82P to SAFTI MI this evening for a discommissioning parade then the excavator can do a demo hit on the bus' rego plate to show its de-registered..

lol SAFTI MI, thats my school's favourite that always hold X-country at there since 3 years ago.or SBST can donate SBS 82P to there as shuttle bus svc with SAF livery, from Boon Lay MRT to SAFTI MI

Rego plates are not required to be returned. -
Spotted SBS82P still parking alongside wit SBS8915J, SBS8911U, SBS8913P and SBS86D today.

Saw it wit white paper, spotted outside AMDEP.
white paper = awaiting lay-up = cannot revenue service anymore liao.
