Guys, can we get back to what this thread is all about?
On a side note, i do believe n4l is just a beginner. Let him have time to learn.

It doesn't even seems like a guideline of not using flash. Even for drivers, people don't even flash high beams at the opposite direction. Simple theory as it affects driver's vision. If a person's mindset was that the bus is not moving so they can flash, where's the logic?

Explain red light cameras. In BOTH directions.
Happens in Taiwan all the time. The cameras are placed on both sides of the road at the same point and when a photo is taken of a driver on that side, the flash is EXTREMELY glaring for the drivers on the opposite side of the camera.
You mean Taiwanese drivers are different from Singaporean drivers?
Oh, and I bet you're not a driver either? Pot calling kettle black.
In Malaysia, flashing high beams are used on the opposite direction to warn drivers of TP, a sharp bend, or a sudden bend, or that the car is approaching on a small road without traffic lights or in the village areas. Or alternatively the horn is used, but its usually the beam.
That is, unless you claim Singaporean drivers are different...or they are all photoseziure sensitive

Stuckup boastful think you knowitall idiot.
Interesting. So next time i must comment people's photo in this thread? Normally i would PM them. But too bad, you aren't capable of taking nice photo. Given your photo, it doesn't even worth to develop it out. You don't even know of appreciating photos.

I am a driver so i know how they felt when being flashed at. So you warning the driver that you are taking photo?

Couldn't resist this one! OMG! Okay LAH.
You know how come drivers know not to flash high beams?
Coz they kenna flash before, very uncomfortable. So they don't do it anymore.
OR
their driving instructors/friends told them not to.
Anyway, stop trying to make it seem as if everyone will know everything. maybe they not as good as you lei??
The fact is this. You did not give advise. You did not explain your point politely. and your excuse is that.... he should already have know.
Why not, you agree that you will give advise politely next time? And he agree to be receptive to advise? Case close?

Wait, did I receive a PM? No.
Please wait, don't make yourself look INNOCENT.
Contradictory statements do not help further your point.
Did I want to develop my photo? No. How very unfortunate. You assumed.
You know what's assumption?

Please do not make affirmative statements, saying he's not capable of taking nice photos. May I know something? You can take nice photos since the day you're born? People need to learn, and some takes longer and require more patience. Some learn from mistakes.

No. unfortunately you're changing the topic again.
Flashing high beams are frequently used by drivers in certain places, that is unless Singaporean drivers are different from drivers in the rest of the world...or maybe from your utterly screwed logic, it is.
A camera flash is not as strong as a constant high beam or for that matter a flashing high beam. So what does a driver's vision have to do with this? It irritates - yes that's true, but it doesn't affect the vision permanently so much so that he can't drive. Otherwise the high beam would be banned from the roads.
taken some time ago...

Gosh. You really want to argue your point.
Alright then. I believe that if the BC is affected by the flash of n4l's camera, he would have used his safety logic and judgement not to drive off for at least half a minute or so after he recovers. As per stated, the bus was in a stationary position, so there is very little hazard. You can say that n4l will cause delays as per my reply, but it is not like as if n4l went around snapping buses pics with flash frequently (i am presuming he really meant that this is his first time for this only).
Yes, n4l was at fault, but you are now creating a ruckus. I'm also not a very good bus photographer (look at my pics on the first page of this thread) , and your comments do affect everyone in general.
Ok, simple_boi, that's far enough. You are now insulting other people's pictures and the likes. I'm not going to comment any further unless really required.

If you did the correct thing, why so aggitated?

How powerful is a handheld camera flash?
How powerful is a car's high beams?
OOPS.

Seems like SMB42P is the odd 1 out, base on the BC window glass. Even SMB66X also don't have that kind of window.

If you did the correct thing, and someone came in and scolded you idiot, flaming whatever you've done. Would you be happy?
Seriously, it's easier said than done. You may say, yah, it doesn't affect me. I suppose I'll tell you, go screw yourself again.
Go raise your EQ and reflect on yourself and your boastfulness.
Even photographers I know that do photography professionally don't act like you do, or act as stuckup in the ass as you do when they see someone lousier or not as good as they think they are.
May I suggest that you stop posting useless photos either, just throw away your DSLR so that you can stop boasting and pissing others off with your egoistic comments.
