Accident and Breakdown Thread 2009

TIB1131G (AMDEP 61) was on 61 when it brokedown this morning at 7.30am at Bukit Batok East Ave 6 Blk 283 bus stop.
Engine cover was open, EDS was off and BC was having a short conversation with the just arrived to bus bay 106 SL on TIB1037X.

SBS8060A [SLBP 174/174e]
Location: Jurong Road towards NBR
Situation: 2 police vehicles parked behind the bus, with BC and police onboard. No passengers seen. Saw this when I was on SBS8030L -
SBS9203Z(ARBP 10) broke down at Pasir Panjang Road(Redwood West Bus Stop) at 4.55Pm. cause of break down : Unknown.

SMB55C (KJDEP/BBBP 189) brokedown at a bus stop opp Clemeti Stn. I saw it at ard 10.40pm. Rear engine cover opened, BC checking smth in it.. I was in SBS8489Y on 105 during tht time. Bus showed full 189 route.

TIB1073R [WL 960].
The back 100 plus ads on the window glass has gone. Got new window glass.TIB1045Y [WL 960].
Small part of the VOITH ads gone on the right side due to having new window glass. About the same as TIB1088Z.Seems like nowadays 960 bendies keep changing new window glass. Previously were TIB1144U and TIB1088Z.
TIB1159C, some part of ads gone on the left side due to bad scratches. -

SBS667C on Service 16 brokedown along Marine Parade Rd (O/S Parkway Parade Bus Stop) at about 1315 hours. -

The place where it brokedown is certainly not a good one.BTW,if it was parked at Jurong Rd,it must have took up one whole lane right?then the vehicles going in SBS8060A's direction would have to cut into the opposite lane to get past the bus.luckily,that road is quite deserted sometimes if not that whole road would be congested just because of one bus. -

Yeah. At that time, there weren't much cars there. So it wasn't much of a problem. But what I think, it's not a breakdown. Coz not long later, i saw it passing outside Bukit Batok Interchange, off service. Wonder what happened that required police to be there... -

TIB1171R on Service 169 brokedown at the traffic light after ang mo kio ave 3 blk 129 bus stop. engine cover was opened. no breakdown triangle was seen. SL was not seen.

SBS7276B on svc 93 brokedown at a bus stop along Braddell Rd(AMK direction). the rear engine cover was opened. i witnessed it at exactly 6.39pm.

SBS837D brokedown at Hougang Ctrl the yellow white shelther bus-stop at around 1 and half hours ago... sia first time see a trg breakdown

Oh ya forgot to add in: the recover truck was also at the breakdown scent plus the bus blocks the bus-stop sia :S

SBS9105Z on Service 97 brokedown along Buona Vista Flyover (Opp PSB Science Park Bldg) at about 0945 hours. When the Vehicle Recovery Truck, the bus finally operate as per normal.
ps. sorry if I msg to some of u here about the b/down, it should be 9105 and not 9155. -
Spotted Hispano MK II bendy on unknown service (188, 963 or unlikely 106 :X) brokedown at the bus stop before Clementi Firestation at 6.15pm today. Engine cover was open, BC outside bus. Was in TIB611U on 106 travelling to Bukit Batok, so couldn't spot rego and EDS was off.
Someone wanna confirm the rego and service?

it was actually brokedown at Commonwealth Ave West after Toh Tuck Rd de bus stop(towards clementi). IIRC it may be TIB1000B. i spotted later than u lol, 6.57pm. -

oicic . The bus stop doesn't have landmarks around there either, so i refer it to the nearest landmark where possible yep. -
SBS9260H (BNDEP 8) broke down at SAFRA tampines at about 5pm today. I was on 1940G on 18 when I witnessed it. Thie recovery truck was already on site, and pax were still loitering around.

SBS8227L on 293 brokedown at the right-most lane close to the junction of Tam Ave 7 and Tam Ave 9 at around 6.45pm when it was almost about to turn right into Tam Ave 9.the BC placed the breakdown triangle behind the bus.engine compartment was open.there were people on the bus at that time and the BC was walking outside the bus checking the rear. -
Today
TIB870M and 871K(both KJ 176) dunno what svc, spotted breakdown at BNL int 6pm+ at bus parking lots, both parked next to each other, both engine cover opened and mechanic is attempting to fix the engine area.

SMB49X (AM851)-if i am not wrong broke down along Marymount Rd opp Raffles JC At around 3 PM. I was in 166 at that time. the BC was just smoking away

think the B9TL sideswiped a tree, causing the tree to fall and hit a car in front. upper deck first window was shattered. happened this afternoon
