  Location: Before (75061) Bedok Reform Training Centre
  Nature of Breakdown: Unknown
  
  Details:
  
  1. SBS 9473K was on Service 65 when it broke down before bus stop 75061. All passengers have alighted and boarded another bus at time of witness.
  2. Breakdown sign was placed behind the bus.
  3. The breakdown resulted in massive traffic jam on Bedok Reservior Road for Tampines Ave 1/4 bound traffic as only one out of the two lanes were usuable.

  9301Z is still safe, did 80 that same afternoon of crash. Reach hougang aft 9371X i took at TPY, 4.30pm. 9397Y didnt know what it's been doing these days.

  Aha, maybe jasonhsu can spy on 198s. If 9374 ponteng consec days, hmm

  SBS490U brokedown outside the Shell station next to Bishan Fire Station while on 52. Suspect tire problem, service truck on-site.

  SBS2784J brokedown at the Sunset Way bus stop while cameo on 52 today. Problem unknown. Desto still on, no passengers.

  Date: 29 May 2009, Friday
  Time: 1840hrs (at time of witness)
  Location: Marina Centre Terminal
  Nature of Breakdown: Engine Overheated

  Details:

  • I took the bus a while ago, the bus was late (reached Bugis at 1819hrs when it was supposed to reach MCT at 1813hrs).
  • SL told me that the bus is going to breakdown soon...engine at 130 degrees and the water at its B.P. (100 degrees)
  • spotted breakdown with engine cover opened at MCT while on TIB1140E. EDS changed to Off Service with no breakdown triangle placed. SL was waiting in the 'office' for the Recovery Truck.

  Wah. Another DD out liao. What is the rego?

  Anyway, on Wed, I took 925, happened to pass-by a bus repair factory and saw the King Long bus that rammed into SBS9489R's back, was in there, also covered in big piece of plastic, waiting to be repaired.

  9374M is not involved in crash. on 198 today

  Today just took SBS9374M on 198. The damage of the bus is more serious than SBS9489R. I have a feeling its a 132 bus. Since its adless, could be SBS9208K or SBS9356R

  Another cameo freak out for the Bt merah case? hmm, 2 hypothesis of VO3

  1. It's a 132 that skid forward when left turn into int.

  2. It's a 153 or 198 leaving int, buang just upon turn out. More possible as case 1 is reckless in a sense, if u know my meaning.

  I leave out 5 which is "by left" case since it's perm aint batch 1 and only minority is ADD. Wat's more the DD should to be S shift if i aint wrong so the incident time might be after their duties.

  If it's cameo 198, the bus prob be one of those 196 if it aint BB SP since they freq interchange cameos. So the presence of 9269 etc is vital in solving the case

  2nd case of TIB1245L breaking down this year. 3rd case of Svc 900 buses breaking down on Svc 960 this year (1st two cases when TIB1049L and TIB1245L were cameoing on 960 on the same day, 2nd case mentioned in quote).
