SBS9028M(SL 174) broke down aft The Hereen bus stop along Orchard Rd.

A taxi door (SHA 5738Y) kena laggar with SMRT bus (TIB 1231B) at Yishun this morning. No one was injured. Its its due to a taxi passenger open the door facing the road instead of open the door facing the kurb. Its is not any of the driver fault, its the taxi passenger fault.
Thats the taxi passenger .
the bus is trying to open the door, only 1 side of the door can open, another on jammed.
all passengers in the bus alight at the entrance door, 2nd and the 3rd door cannot opened. Luckily the the bus still okey only the last door.

Good job to the A shift perm uncle for spoiling the taxi door. At least it will drive some sense into the passenger now that he may have to pay for the damages.
TP seriously needs to visit that place for just one morning and I think they can issue over 20 summons. Parking on bus lane, stopping along double yellow line...
1231B continued service after that.

Probably the 1st OC batch 2 breakdown:
SMB80D on 851 (AM 851)
- Bus was heading towards Bt Merah
- Broke down opp Bras Basah Cplx at 8am
- All pax alr transferred, triangle placed with SL waiting for recovery

hmm...80D was back to svc as at 8.15pm.

Today
TIB901H (KJDEP 67) brokedown at CCK Int, after finishing its svc (67). It brokedown directly when the BC turned at the kerb. Rear engine cover was opened and many SMRT staff went to look at it. There is also alot of white dust all over the engine btw. Maybe it was on fire?

Too much dust and it need to be clean or the engine might not work.

SH106L brokedown along Bt timah Rd at 10am today.
Bus was Larkin-bound.
So was another MAN CW2 bus, also Larkin bound.

TIB1255H got accident recently, but only back bumper damaged. WLDEP don't care about repairing this bus liao, which is still on 178 today.

TIB570D on tow again. WLDEP never take care of this bus well. Maybe its fate bah, always saw this bus either on tow or breakdown.

It's SBS8642X and it is perm 36 leh.If it is SBS8641Z it is also perm 36.Suffix wrong and svc wrong.U sure u saw the correct bus? -

SMB 80D broke down again on the morning of 07/08/2009, right outside Yishun Int at 6.05am. It had just departed on 851 then. -
Spotted A unknown OCs parking by the road side on 811. It was then overtake by SMB9L.

SBS9177E (AMDEP 168) had a close-call near-miss accident on 168 at that day. I was onboard at that time (at the upper deck). I can still remember that incident. While watching 'Just For Laughs Gags' on TVM @ around 7.55pm, the BC was speeding through the e'way (SLE). Then, at the SLE exit (going towards Woodlands), the BC gave a very hard jam brake & a violent jerk since he overtook a taxi which were also going towards the SLE exit. The bus was actually heading towards a kerb in between the e'way & the exit. By then, everyone was screaming for help including me (and the loudest was the passengers in front of the upper deck). I was nearly thrown off my seat but unfortunately, a kid was thrown off the seat & he sustained minor injuries & he cried loudly. He sat infront of the upper deck with his parents and they didnt stop their boy in time. His forehead got blue-black bumps since his head hit another seat infront. Everyone was very fortunate that the bus didnt crashed into a kerb, or else. (you know whats the consequences.)

TIB574T (AMDEP 61) sent back to AMDEP due to faulty EDS. EDS kept clearing itself and showing Bukit Batok INT/MRT for several cycles before declaring breakdown. Potential LAWO Sicma...
Expect to see EDS change within the next few days.
