All buses plying that road were diverted into Hillview using the stretch of road that 173 uses, and all other vehicles also, causing a massive jam.
First time take bendy bus ply that area.
Lucky that hill aint Toh Tuck Avenue, otherwise i cant imagine 178 UD's climbing it.

1. SBS 8065U (SLBP 52)
> Break Down at Thomson Rd (Opp MacRitchie Res)
> Saw at 1029hrs2. TIB 1085B (KJDEP 172/67)
> Break down at Jln Anak Bukit
> Reason unknown
> Rear cover open.
> Saw at arnd 1042hrs -
I alighted from IMM at 5pm. First 502 to arrive was SBS231B (SL 335). Then 9888Y notified me via SMS that 8033D broke down and was replaced by that very 231B.
And so I gave up and took TIB1062Y/180 to BLTI from Jurong Town Hall Rd. When it turned from the junction to Chinese Garden MRT 8033D was alongside with it ("SBS ~transit" logo). It raced along the speed camera zone side-by-side...
I don't know whether to laugh or cry .-.

8033D did 183 in the afternoon / late afternoon. -
1. A unidentified WA Strider Scania, adless, met with an accident with a car at Woodlands Road at the bus stop opposite Ten Mile Junction. Front bumper seems torn or damaged. Engine cover open. No injuries, but police and a SMRT staff were at the scene. Saw this at 10 plus in morning.
2. TIB1040K broke down at 2nd bus stop along Woodlands Avenue 3 towards town. Engine cover open. Engine fan belt seen turning very violently.

Oh. Saw TIB1040K brokedown as well.Hai yo!!! Another Scania. Maybe TIB661A? Cos I saw it on 961 at W'lands Ave 3 about 10.20am.

SBS7305B (AM 21) kenna accident last week. front windscreen (near entrance) cracked.
yesterday its bro SBS7306Z (AM 72) kenna accident also. Front windscreen (near entrance) also cracked... the windscreens for this two buses cracked almost at identical spot. -

Its TIB582U that got into accident at the front, early this year. Thats why it got LAWO EDS. It got into another accident few months ago, at the back, when TIB1257C ramped into TIB582U's back.Its now back on 965 with front-side & back in SMRT livery.

Uh ... ... this thread is to record Accidents & Breakdowns that just happened, not for posting accidents and breakdowns that had happened so long ago and that everyone had already known. SMB1H's breakdown was in 2008 ... ...Anyways on Wednesday my mum told me some Svc 900 bus broke down at one of the Woodlands Ave 4 bus stops. Bus that had broke down could have been TIB904A, because it was replaced by TIB1234T that day and all the other perms were still operating till the night

An OC500LE (rego: unknown can't see the bus i was travveling on is moving very fast) broke down at woodlands road on 13 oct while operating on 925(i think as the only sevice in woodlands with alot of WABs is 925) smrt truck at scene only.SL gone.i suspect the SL who came up at the bus i was travveling on at the next stop is the SL.he seemed calm and even had a cup of tea.
