SBS958M has been refurbished
The grey colour cloth has been changed into red colour (same as those VO3x)
Green cover seats has been changed to the newer version but not for the blue cover seats
I felt that they should change the blue cover seats to the yellow cover seats and change the circular hand grips into the triangular hand grips. haha

In 5 August 2001 (Sunday), SMRT Introduced Bus Service 989 from Choa Chu Kang Interchange to Changi Airport (Loop). This Service 989 has a lot of passengers taking this Bus and need to stand at the Bus. This Bus Service 989 has been withdrawn by SMRT in 27 July 2003 (Sunday) and merged with Bus Service 185.
With Bus service 118, residents can connectivity to the various MRT stations such as South View, Keat Hong, Teck Whye, Phoenix, Petir and Changi Airport. It will also enable commuters to get to Bukit Panjang Plaza, Airport Police Station, CIAS Inflight Catering Centre and Changi Airport PTB 1, 2, 3.
If you have any suggestions/enquiry about this Re-Introduce of SBS Transits Bus Service 118, you can write to me at this Topic, so that I can send to SBS Transits. This suggestion will be starting from 2 June 2009 (Tuesday) - 13 July 2009 (Monday).
& i know who that guy was.. 100% sure its that alan9320 who did that since the word SBST is 'SBS Transits'
i saw SBS663M somewhere near BNDEP, with the L plate Holder and it is a training bus.
Sawtooh berths and End on berths
Do you know what are these
coming from the Europeans
Saw tooth berths are verths located in a bus station whereby the berths arranged in a saw tooth arrangement.
Eg: Woodlands int entire layout is sawtooth berth
This is said to save space and effeicient queueing of people
End on berths are berths for bbus at bus station whereby the bus drives rigght in n parks end-on, much like the one side of berths at bt batok int
Most bus interchhnages in Singapore have a combi of both types of bus berths for bbaording n alight paxs. check it out.

Yishun Interchange - where the entrance is actually accessible to cars & buses but cars will turn left to the car park.
EDS
Electronic Destination Screen
wrong use - electronic display sign,
the EDS is so called because it uses elctornics, (LED and ciruittry and computers) and it shows the Destination for a bus and its a screen fitted onto the bus.
EDsets
EDsets are the road names, words, bbus no or whatever display set you wish to output to the EDS screen. EDsets are generally prepared on a normal computer and then imported into the EDS Hard Disk via a USB port.
Today the modern EDset preparing programms are written in windows. legend has it that each and every pixel has to be clicked to "on" or "off" setting. So yoou cna imagine how long it takes to prepare a EDset.
EDS Controllers
These are like tiny calculator sized devices fitted near the dash. for driver to control EDS.
most EDS come with basic functions
> a scroll search for your EDS u want
> functiion to change bbus destinatiion direction
> functiion for special destos sets
> 3 digit keying of svc no to get what u want fast
Very few brands however allow you to program your own desto. This is due to the abbove fact that a EDset is hard to write even for the laymen driver. however there exists brand of EDS can allow you to output out service numbers as these have been pre keyed into the EDS hard disk for,
Common EDS brandings
MobiTec
Lawo
Hanova (Birtish)
Gorba
Coolair

LECIP (Formerly known as Sanyo Electronics)
