EDS/Desto Plate Wrong

TIB745S once had a EDS which showed 985 and full 985 route details when it was in WRI.
Several buses have spoilt side EDS showing OFF SERVICE or some stuck service no. TIB639R showed a "1" a few days ago until it was repaired recently. TIB443M had "7" when serving 911 when it was still in WLDEP.
TIB1190K when serving 912 showed "114 WOODLANDS INT/MRT". SL got a great shock when he came out and saw it.
But I don't usually ask the SL do change it anyway. Never had I been so lucky to board a bus with a wrong EDS
oh...the 912 one...keyed in L: 114 instead of L: 214...

It is also very common for SBST loop services with double sided destos like Svc 123 etc

I hate the LAST BUS one alot :(~
That day I was at Lentor Road rushing to catch the last 852 home~ it departs yishun int at 1130pm and will reach lentor 10 minutes after departure, so its about 1140pm. But I saw a 852 "last bus" bus at 1131pm at lentor with the last bus eds...then i was like, WTF. The bus flew from Yishun isit :(~ I went over to the sports hall and lan lan just wait and try my luck, thank god the real last bus was behind :\.

haha. the SL anyhow just press M: 6 so as to go back to depot earlier.

How can he go back earlier with the EDS? o.O~ If he's really the last bus he'll go back later than scheduled what and he still has to do the normal route and pick passengers which will go, wtf, why last bus so early.

For me, i would just go and save the BC from trouble by reminding him to change back. I remembered taking the 6:42 am Sv 859 bus from Sembawang Int in 2006 to school. The BC driving 773K accidentally pressed 854 eds code and i went on to tell him to change back. He quickly changed it back to Sv 859 eds details and thanked me.

It's not uncommon to see a upside down 88 desto. Clearly the BC couldn't be bothered, because it would still read 88 anyway.

Same for 8. With exceptions to the new and old destos.

I have ever seen some SMRT buses showing the wrong service number on the rear desto. For once I saw a Scania Strider on service 187 travelling along BKE, rear desto showing "962"

I saw a SMRT Mercedes O405 on 61. The EDS was read as:
61 Harbour Front Interchange
I didn't tell him as I was taking other buses.....

Last year, got one Habit on 859, cannot see rego cause like, 6.10am. Front and side, normal. The the rear was like, 43T or something.

Such an occurence is quite common, but I shall share of one experience here though.
I saw before (last year) SBS 9231S with a Townlink 222 desto on front but a Service 168 desto behind. I was misled and I recounted it as a "real joker".

Not true. Upsidedown FF meta and Century Gothic (Rear only) 8 service plates are fairly common.
The century gothic 8 service plates looks cute when its placed upside down.

Last year, a 177 SL forgot to change the destination of the EDS. The bus was heading towards bukit batok but the EDS showed bukit panjang. At least 10 ppl boarded at MINDEF CP before someone double checked with the SL and realised the mistake. He eventually switched to breakdown mode and let those ppl get off. Lol...

If you all haven't realised, this thread isn't asking you to list down when you have seen the EDS wrong and on what bus.
It's asking...if you all bothered to correct the driver when you see that the EDS/desto is wrong :(~

I saw something today which really can make one laugh... Imagine a Svc 96B front desto being placed upside down. That's what I saw.
