The day it happened on the then 169AM52 slot the SL couldn't make the route no. and route details display on the EDS despite switching the engine on & off and resetting the EDS and had to run the 911E x-over with a paper desto on the windscreen. 3 days (or so) later it came back with a LAWO SICMA EDS

  svc 124 EDS is very misleading. Those heading to Telok Blangah display >ST MICHAEL on the front EDS. But looking closer, a metal desto on the front windscreen displaying to Telok Blangah. Which is which? We bus fans may not be fooled, but not the oridinary folks! Esp since there are a few bus stops inside Whampoa serving both directions.

  For svc 133, though I applaud the labelling >SUNTEC CITY for city-bound buses and >ANG MO KIO for AMK bound buses. But I noticed a number of times the front EDS displaying >SUNTEC for AMK bound buses. Maybe the BCs are still not used to it.

  SBST EDS are still very messy for loop svcs!

  Some loop service has 2 side desto for non EDS buses but seldom see BC change them when returning from loop...

  Haha TIB576M don't like svc 960 lah. Cos on Sunday it did 911, everything was alright.

  SBS8991M reported to BLI berth at 5pm just now with all EDS showing 159. Pax informed BC and he changed it to 157.
  
  Interestingly, people seem to know its 157 before the route number was changed as those in the 157 queue boarded but not those in the 179 and 199 queue. Maybe it has a 157 aura around it.

  this is especially so at the bus stop along jln bahagia..
  which is why to be safe, I always walk to whampoa rd to board..

  i was like shocked because it says 178 because i never saw 178 cameoing on a bendy before
