Did 262 for almost 2 weeks already, had to use traditional way to check status...
The additional 2 slots are given P shifts only, 19P & 20P, they don't have A shifts for the slots. Means driver takes bus direct from SLBP to start work. Perhaps service_238 can elaborate on what's the reason behind in adding P shifts but not fullday slots.
Sometimes adding P shift doesnt mean that night demand is more than the day. Dont forget in the day there's the S/E shifts to cover. In a sense, if you put the morning S shift and the P shift together - you get a full day slot less the period between 1100-1500hrs.
PM S shifts in this way helps in the A/P meal break and the run time during pm peak, given that frequency stays the same and run time difference is not very significant. That is why sometimes for some services during morning peak the S shifts has no driver due to shortage but there's a driver during PM peak due to A shift drivers doing OT.

Service 307 have been a long time full fleet OC500LE, same for Service 189 all rigid buses are OC500LE's expect cameo's. This had been happening seen the day KJDEP receive the 50 n 60 series OC500LE.

588Y has been doing 28 before the merge with 152. Sad to see it leave 28. Now the buses that survived from the old 28 route till now is 9484 and 9509!
Also wonder if the route of 28 will be amended again after the opening of the circle line since there is route duplication from Paya Lebar to Bartley area, the demand no doubt will fall.

the demand would be more for tpy - bartley or tpy - upp paya lebar. in fact now its kinda that way already. but i doubt 158 can survive ![]()

Im really really satisfied with 307 fleet already.. Aft all these years with CAC 0405s, when 2009 comes, CACs all kiked out & those superb new buses come in.. Btw, its actually a very expected surprise to have full OC fleet on 307 for me cuz last yr i wish to have em, which i put at 'Your Own Deployment Fleet' thread..
P.S Btw, i think maybe 764L's ad shld give to the 307 OCs since 764L nt 307 perm anymore..
